Nursery Rhymes

It didn't take my 18 mo old daughter long to find all the 'buttons' to push and she LOVES this book. They aren't really buttons, they are just lil flat touch points, so very very easy to activate the music (maybe not as easy to find, for younger / babies). The singing is random / children and is cute. I didn't like that some of the songs kinda cut off before end, like Old MacDonalds doesn't have the last verse, but I get that there is only so much recording time. Row Row Row your boat starts with the sound of water which throws my daughter off so she thinks the song hasn't come on and presses the button again... but I am giving 5 stars cause my daughter absolutely loves this book. I will say, the price seems a bit much for me. Almost $20 for a book? And it isn't even that big... I know nothing about making books, but seems a bit much... If they were $10 I would buy more, but at $20 she will just have to enjoy this one.

The very first time I heard one of these songs play (we have two of these books) I swore I was going to return it without letting my daughter see it. But we bought it for entertainment during a weekend of car trips (relatives in town) and it was too late to get anything else. She usually hates the car and starts fussing pretty quickly, but she literally played with these two books for over 3h. She played with no other toys. She cried when I wouldn't let her bring them into the house (to keep them interesting for the car). She still asks for them often in the car (she got them 2 months ago), and they often entertain her for a decent amount of time, but that first weekend was like a miracle. All the adults in the car were ready to leap out while it was going at full speed, but we all agreed that it deserved 5 stars for the amazing effect it had on my daughter. The songs cut off at awkward places, the kids' voices are annoying, the music in the background sounds poorly recorded and amateur... But my 18mo thinks they're the best books ever, so I suppose my opinion doesn't really matter. Amazon should pair them with ear plugs, but otherwise enjoy!

Very young children get a big kick out of pushing the button for music. Our 4 year old granddaughter still loves to use these books, most of which we gave her at one year.

I bought this for my 3.5yo so that she has a bedtime activity. It takes her awhile to fall asleep and she needs something to keep her entertained until she does. The combination of turning the pages, looking at the pictures, and listening to the songs is a win. I like that the songs are sung (not just music, actual words are sung). However I'm disappointed that the songs are so short. It's just one verse of each song, so they feel like they stop short too quickly. And like all musical books the sound is WAY WAY WAY too loud. We put heavy tape on the back of the book to try to make it quieter. But it doesn't help much. I wish all musical toys/books had volume settings.

My son loves these books. He got his first one when he was 18 months and he is now three and still likes to read them/listen to them. I think they also make a really good baby shower gift. The songs are catchy and the pictures are cute. I just gave one to my one year old neice and she also loves them.

Very good price, arrived on time, My grandson was so happy with this book, his other books didn't have itsy bitsy spider and this book has it on the first page, I also love these books!

My daughter loves music and loves to sing. This book is so cute and a very simple and easy concept for babies, toddlers and kids to use. Love that the button both turns it on and off. Nursery Rhymes is cute the songs are very appropriate, baa baa black sheep, old mcdonald, row row row the boat, hickory dickory dock, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Twinkle Twinkle little star. We bought this originally for the Itsy Bitsy Spider, but she loves all the songs equally. I have owned their original version, and now have the updated version, which is more colorful, I love the illustrations in both, but the newer version is a little cuter. The lyrics sound clearer in the newer version, the older version seemed to be more of an Australian Accent. It still has an accent but in now clearer. I love it! I love that the songs are sung by children. When my first version stopped working the customer service for Ditty Bird was very fast and immediately sent me a new book. Thank you Ditty Bird for a great product.

I had initially bought this for my kid as a substitute of watching rhymes on tv and mobile. It worked well, my baby loved it. The only thing to be careful is to use the correct mentioned battery as suggested by them once the current battery dies. The customer support is also great. When the book stopped working even with battery replacement from local shop I wrote email to ditty birds and they gave solution to use good LR1130 AG10 battery. After ordering that battery online it started working again.

A wonderful book of learning and enjoyment. A captivating and engaging learning experience.

The book itself is nice enough, however, all the tunes are slightly different to the way I learned to sing them, meaning that I'm not too keen on singing along and can see my child getting confused later.
