I’ve tried several ceramic and hydrophobic sprays over the years, but CARPRO HydrO2 Lite is the only brand I will use on my all-black truck. It’s hands-down the best I’ve found for keeping a dark vehicle looking sharp. This stuff saves me a ton of time and money on car washes and detailing. The hydrophobic properties are excellent — it repels dirt, dust, and water incredibly well. I just give the truck an occasional rinse every few weeks and it looks clean again. No need for constant washing or waxing. I only have to spray it on twice a year and it continues performing strongly. The application is straightforward and the results on black paint are beautiful. Water beads up and sheets right off, taking contaminants with it. My truck stays looking showroom fresh with minimal effort. If you have a black or dark-colored vehicle, do yourself a favor and get this. It’s worth every penny for the time and hassle it saves. Highly recommended!

I’ll start off by saying that I am OCD when it comes to my cars. This product is the real deal. It makes it ridiculously easy to apply a hard layer of hydrophobic silica on anything and everything(sounds odd but trust me, try it on your toilet bowl!!). The gloss is unreal. I spray it on every wash. It’s important to rinse it off with high pressure so it spreads and sticks. You don’t need to spray a lot. With weekly washes, I’ve found a bottle lasts me 3 months. One can also apply it dry, as you would a regular spray wax. Bear in mind, if you choose to go that route, there’s a higher chance of it streaking. I have anecdotal evidence of the sealant offering some degree of scratch protection. And it is chemically resistant, no doubt(from my toilet bowl test, this coating still exhibited hydrophobic properties even after acid drain cleaner was used to clear up the John). That’s important so bird droppings and road de-icing chemicals don’t etch your paint. I’ve found it builds up over time the more you use it. Personally, I am using it as a standalone sealant. Aside from longevity, I haven’t seen a traditional ceramic coating offer significantly more protection or benefits than this 30 buck product. The scratch resistance is mainly because of the fantastic slickness provided by this sealant. Instead of “catching” on the paint, abrasive objects slide, reducing the chance of severe damage. Due to the aforementioned OCD, I’m all about consistent and easily repeatable results so I buy this premixed formula. But you can buy the concentrate and experiment with different mixtures.

Honestly, it works amazingly well. It’s very easy to apply and then rinse off immediately. However, make sure to follow the directions and rinse off right away. Do not let it sit, as it will leave high spots that are a royal pain to remove. But as long as you rinse off right away, it’s a great topper.

Very good, pretty easy to apply and seeing the result instantly. I would say pretty good quality and last for pretty long. I think foam would be better and easier to apply and rinse

I typically don’t write reviews, but for this product, absolutely… I suggest using clay bars with lubricant after a good soapy wash to get all impurities off the paint. After, instead of using my hose, I used a car wash’s high pressure hose to wet my car first, spritz sprayed one panel at a time, then immediately high pressure hosed each panel. I did 2 rounds around the whole car, and I’m amazed how good it looks. You will too! High pressure rinse is the key.

It works extremely well after doing a maintenance wash to add some hydrophica and gloss by spraying twice per panel, rinsing up and then rinsing back down.

This product is an excellent solution for preventing dust from being added to car wheels or paint. It protects the paint or surface by introducing a hydrophobic condition. The application process is straightforward. After washing the car, apply the product and rinse it off with water.

Really easy to use! Just spray on then rinse it off. Just be careful if the car is hot because it will stain.

CarPro Hydro2 Lite is simply brilliant. Wash your car as normal. Have a hose in one hand and the bottle of Hydro2 Lite in the other. Squirt it on a couple of panels at a time and rinse immediately. You do not need a pressure washer for this as a hose pipe works just as well. Dry car with a drying towel and it is perfect, Subsequent washes over the next three months or so are a piece of cake as the dirt washes off easily. I find that the beading effect lasts at least three months before it needs sealing again. One word of warning - don't use it in bright sunlight.
