As with all fungicides, Gunner delivers the best protection by stopping disease before it starts. If not applied preventively, apply at the first signs of disease onset; the more progressed a disease becomes, the harder it will be to cure.

What conditions favor disease development?

Warm, humid air promotes disease development. In general, once nighttime lows are in the 60's and grass/leaves experience prolonged wetness (12 hours), disease is likely to develop and Gunner 14.3 MEC should be applied as a preventive measure.

Is it okay to rotate fungicide products from one application to the next?

Yes, in fact, rotation between different chemical classes (group #) is encouraged. When active ingredients from different classes are used in rotation, resistance development is mitigated. Artavia 2 SC is a good rotation partner with Gunner.

Lingering chemical odor

Certainly has a chemical odor. My wife was not happy that I sprayed before the kids came home from school...oops. I expect it to work so only -1 star for the lingering smell. Will update review if no results.

Works on spot anthracnose
