Finally, a Coffee That Loves My Stomach
Really impressed with this coffee. Smooth flavor with very low acidity, so it’s much easier on my stomach than regular coffee. It still has a rich, bold taste without the bitterness. I’ve tried a lot of low-acid coffees and this is one of the best so far. Great aroma, fresh quality, and definitely worth the price.

Good coffee—no problems!
I”ve always loved coffee, so I was disappointed when I could no longer drink even decaf without getting Afib or Gerd. I tried this coffee, and not only can I drink it without any ill effects, but it’s also absolutely delicious! I purchased some for my son who suffers from IBS, and he drank it with no problems as well!

The REAL thing! Delicious
Oh my GOODNESS. This saved my coffee craving! I tried desperately to drink only tea and avoid coffee for a few weeks after suffering an endless bout of GERD and esophagitis, all the while taking double PPIs and avoiding acidic foods, etc. Then I heard about low-acid coffee and I knew I HAD to try it. I was so scared, but it tastes AMAZING - even better than some of the beans I use in my expensive Breville espresso machine. Since this is already ground, I really worried - but the taste is smooth, rich, deep, and has a beautiful creamy froth on top. I'm in LOVE and will purchase more for everyday use, even after my digestion heals!

The Best of the Low Acid types!
I normally use the dark beans but wanted a ground version and I did not see the dark bean so tried this and it is wonderful. Hard to tell the difference really. I have tried all of the expensive ones ad this is as good as any of the others are a reduced price. I think it would be very hard to beat either of these two, the Mellow and the Dark! No matter how strong I make it or the dark I get no reaction from them and I have had an ulcer in the past too and quite coffee for a year but due to low acid types I have two fresh brewed cups a day.

Low Acid Good. Flavor Meh.
I'm not a big coffee drinker—honestly, most coffees taste like burnt dirt water, but some are decent with some honey and cream, and an impressive rare few (usually Hawaiian or Italian blends) have even stood well alone—but I like it sometimes as a simpler break during the day than my usual teas, to mix it up, etc. However, in the last year or so, I've started having more stomach-acid responses to coffees, moreso on a less-than-full stomach, so I've started looking at purportedly low-acid coffees to try. Good news: After two cups of this Mellow Belly blend, no acidy stomach response. :-) Bad news: It tastes like burnt dirt, although salvageable to something moderately drinkable with honey and cream. I don't know if I got an unusual bag or if this is just what everyone else likes, as tastes do, of course, vary. (BTW, is the bag supposed to smell strongly of coffee before I open it, or was it not sealed well in the first place?) I'll probably use up this bag, since I have it and the honey and cream treatment can make it drinkable, but I'm feeling encouraged to try a different low-acid brand next time, as I'd like to find something I can drink with little or no rescuing at least some of the time. EDIT: I've since ordered whole bean coffee directly from Lucy Jo's own website, and the flavor is better. Still needs some honey and cream, but not as desperately. Could just be that the bag I got from the Amazon warehouse was less fresh.

No more acid reflux!
This coffee tastes great and I have had no adverse reaction like with regular coffee. I am so happy to have a morning cup of coffee again!

Low acidity
This coffee is great! Low acidity, but tastes really great. It is very smooth tasting, plus it’s organic. Maybe a few dollars more but worth it!
