Best I've seen.
I love this book. It is very comprehensive with a section on all of the usual how to's and information about all kinds of house plants. The back half of the book is pictures and profiles of 194 house plants. It is divided into 3 sections with easy, moderately, or challenging to grow. Most plants have complete page of full color photo and description and care. A few are half page shared with another plant. The only complaint I have is one of my pet peeves with books anyway, photos without heading, name or titles. About half dozen times, in the front section of care and how to, the are photos of plants that aren't named and they are not in the individual plant pages. There is one plant I really like and I have searched everywhere (and I am a good internet searcher) and I can't find this particular plant. Authors, don't put in illustrations or pictures without identifying the subject!

Wonderful, informative book
I love everything about this book. Wonderful photos, perfect descriptions of each plant (the plant's general information, watering, lighting, propagation etc.), and the fact that it has a hardcover.This book even splits house plants into "ease of care" categories. Of course you can find almost any and all info on the internet for plants but I LOVE the look and info inside of this book. Makes a really nice coffee table book. I've used it several times to reference certain house plants that I own. It is definitely worth the money!

Staple plant parent book
This is my go to plant book. Contains the most pertinent info on growth, care, and propagation for common species. I love that the plants are organized into sections by “level of difficulty.” This makes it easy to decide if I have the right living conditions for certain plants.There’s great and must read info on pests and I find the step by step methods of various ways for propagation very intuitive and better than most books I’ve read. I do wish the photos for each species was larger and more than just a circular snapshot, but other than that, it’s a great go-to.

A must have if you have plants. I gave as a Christmas present and my friend LOVED the book. I am going to buy 2 more, one for me and one for my mom. The book has beautiful pictures and is full of vital information on a variety of plants.

Before i read this book and started using it as a guide to keep my plants alivethey were coming to my house to just dieI had no idea how to take care of them if they were getting bugs over watered etcbut now they are all going so well!most of them are thriving and the ones that arent are still recovering from my neglectthe book quality is 10/10 it has a beautiful hard cover and looks great in our home
