We used this book for 10 months prior to my daughter’s SBAC exam.My daughter scored at the top of her state, Connecticut. We used this and the math book religiously. She was solely prepped at home from me and the SBAC tools. Great success. Thank you.

It was a good practice workbook however my kid preferred to use the electronic worksheets that came with the purchase. It was difficult to keep the kids hooked on long pages of text. But, overall a very good resource to prepare for SBAC tests.

This was a great purchase and I would absolutely recommend it for students of all grade levels that the books apply to. I made this purchase for my students in various grade levels and the students, their parents, and their teachers love them! The information included in the books is very beneficial for the students' learning and there are practice tests included that the students can take to sharpen their skills. Another great factor is that for every grade level there are 2 books, one for English and one for math. Our students are set and I can't wait to purchase another set!

This book has a wide range of questions for each reading standard. There is also a focus on language and grammar, which is large part of portion of SBAC. The book is arranged by standard which makes finding exactly the right focus section of the book a breeze.

Helped my kid better prepared for the test! She gained a lot of confidence after doing the practice test and did really well for the real test. We are ordering 4th grade soon

There are many typos and obvious errors in the book. Quality control is unbelievably poor.

It was great for standards-based skills review. I'm not convinced that it truly prepares students for the rigor of the SBAC; however, to be fair, I did not have time to try the online tools.

This is a good book for preparing your third grader for SBAC. The questions are at a good level, and it has a great amount of questions with an answer key, plus an explanation.
