Are they tight round the thighs

Not really the (neoprene maybe) undershorts are designed to fit to the skin, but I guess it largely depends on how big your thighs are, if like me a normal average person fine, but if you have thighs like Tom Platz, you may have issues.

Can’t tell you the exact weight but they are great to wear, I have 2 pairs which I took on holiday this year and used as both shorts and swimmers .
