Snakes get out of here.
Snags definitely do not like the smell of this. They will keep awake from whatever area you apply it to. Must apply while there is no rain for at least a week. As the rain will just wash it away and you would have to reapply.

It seems to be working
Well, I have not seen any snakes in the yard since I started using this after seeing two little rattlesnakes in my small yard in early spring (it’s now September). It smells nice and it’s very easy to apply. I assume the snakes still cruise through the yard, but I’ve laid the granules down pretty good in all the most inviting looking places in the hopes of keeping them from settling in and raising a family, and so far, so good. I took one star off because it’s pretty expensive to keep using it and I can’t say for sure yet if it works or I just haven’t seen any snakes.
