Lucy Jo's Coffee, Organic Brainstorm, Medium Dark Roast, Low Acid, Ground 11 oz

I love black, unsweetened coffee. But, I have a sensitive stomach. I’ve been on a quest for a cup of rich tasting coffee I could enjoy 3-4 cups a day without the indigestion and burn. Since switching to this Lucy Jo’s Brainstorm roast I have found that. It smells amazing when it’s brewing and you’ll definitely know the coffee is on! The aroma is somewhat sweet with toasted almonds. It is not overly smoky or with that charred aroma that so many darker roast demonstrate. It tastes very balanced, not bitter, and doesn’t leave an unpleasant lingering aftertaste. If you’re fussy with your brew like I am, I think you’ll enjoy this one.

I am VERY happy with this. Even grind. No acid burn afterwards but great flavor. Not bitter or over-roasted. I limit myself to 1-2 cups a day so this is perfect for a low-usage situation.

This low-acid coffee is a godsend! I thought I was going to have to give up coffee (a fate worse than death). Was upsetting my stomach. With this, I can have the dark roast coffee I love. It tastes great & no different from regular coffee. Got it on autoship.

It's ok. Taste is good but not low acid as some others have mentioned.

This is a repeat purchase for us! I have problems with acid reflux. It doesn't help that I prefer to have black coffee first thing in the morning, which can be irritating. Lucy Jo's to the rescue! It has a nice, rich flavor. I have found that I had fewer issues after we started using this low acid coffee. We plan to order it again.

Just had my first few cups this morning. Mixed it with almond vanilla creamer and used chrystal geyser water to brew. I used the 'Strong' setting on my coffee maker and so far my stomach feels absolutely fine. I like to drink coffee to work out since its healthier than pre-workout. The standard coffee I would drink would make my stomach bubbly, give me gas, some times give me acid reflux, and overall just made my stomach feel sour and I cant eat for hours. The coffee was very smooth, tasted amazing and it left me with very clean energy. I feel that I can eat, it did not obliterate my appetite. I feel good, lets keep drinking it and see how it goes.
