I'm a chef.. my special is that of cajun/ Italian/ French. When I do have a taste for Chinese food.. I love to make Mongolian beef... also stir fry mixed veg, especially garlic/gr beans using this sauce. Hoisin has an almost smoky taste, rich body which when combined with chicken or beef bouillon to fortify makes a very rich, full flavor. Its also great to do pepper steak. A great marinate for beef, for both grill or stir fry.
