Has anyone actually measured the volume (in mL) dispensed each pump?

It varies by viscosity and liquid level. The spring in the pump has a constant force and 1oz is probably for water. Which has a density of 1 gram per cubic centimeter so anything higher will be slower and lower will be faster. Faster requiring it to be mixed with a gas like 1% carbonated water with .99 g/cm^3

How long is the straw?

the straw is 8 inches with an additional 4 inches for the pump, hope that helps.

Really Happy - NOW!

I initially started off as a disgruntled customer - because what arrived wasn't these dispensing pumps. BUT then found out that my package got switched with my neighbor's package...and now both she and I are happy. Product is very good...and works with the gallon jugs I have. I think the complaints that others might have may be related whether or not the threads fit between these pumps - and the gallon bottles people are wanting to use. Also, these are plastic - so eventually they will wear out faster than if manufactured out of metal....but we're still talking about a VERY LONG time. Thank You!
