Excellent Quality, Performance and Zen Design!
This unit heats 600 ml of water in about 4 minutes using only 0.04 kwh. EXTREMELY energy efficient and plenty fast! Also, this unit uses just under 600 watts and CAN operate without any problems on a Jackery 500 power supply which is good to know for campers or van life. At first I was discouraged by the little silicon seal around top smelling like plastic, BUT if you follow the directions and boil it a few times in the kettle (add a few tea leaves!) the odor cooks off. The silicon is needed only to keep the lid from flopping off when pouring the last few drop. I found it was a bit of a tight fit which is not really necessary so I trimmed a bit off to make it easier to pull off top and see no ill effects from it. The body of the kettle holds heat fairly well and I use it for gong fu brewing of sencha and prefer it not to be too hot anyway, but a touch of the button will restore boil immediately if you like. This is an excellent kettle, very compact and efficient and is now my favorite kettle and works great when camping in my Prius. BTW, it pours very well and works for the gong fu method even though no goose neck which is a liability when camping or brewing in small space. Highly recommend. This was the answer to having one with a lower watt draw to take the load of the inverter I use and not blow fuses etc. I added a thermometer in lid marked at 180 F so I don't have to guess about right temp for my tea since I prefer not to use boiling water for brewing. BTW, it has a bigger sister sold on Amazon on sellers store that also is same 600 watt draw, and it is seafoam green. The larger one has an all metal lid which I prefer, but it is just my personal preference to have the black.

Perfect for dorms
Dorms require automatic shut off for safety; this kettle fits the bill and heats up the water quickly for rehydrating food or beverages.

Compact. Light Weight. Does the Job.
I got this for my camper. It is compact and an easy, cleaner way to boil water. I use it every day that I am camping so I can boil water for coffee. It's small enough that I can leave it on the counter tucked out of the way when I am not using it. It easily stores under the sink when I am traveling or my camper is sitting at home looking at me longingly.

Decent Kettle with Short Cord and Slower Boil Time.
I bought this kettle to keep on or near my desk for quick tea breaks. It’s a bit larger than I expected for something meant to be portable, so I personally wouldn’t travel with it unless it’s a local trip by car. The retractable cord is a nice feature, but it’s quite short (around 2 feet). If your outlet is near the floor, you’ll need an extension cord—so it’s more practical if there’s a wall outlet right next to your desk, table, or counter. In terms of performance, it does take longer to boil water compared to my BODUM kettle at home (unfortunately, I didn’t notice the “5 mins” note on the listing). But since it costs about a third of the price, it’s not a deal-breaker—just something to keep in mind if fast boiling is important to you. Overall, it’s a decent budget product that does the job. The automatic shut-off works well, and it’s easy to clean.

Worth every penny
I love this little kettle. Its portable enough for me to throw in my duffle bag and bring with me to work everyday. The sites ive been at lately dont have a fridge, microwave, or anything for us security. Luckily i got one of these to make instant coffee , tea, and even instant ramen. Its very well thought out. The light comes on when its on and turns off automatically after boiling. And the cord even retracts back into the dock. Its surprising well made and well priced

Practically Perfect water pot.
Perfect little water pot that is creatively designed. Great how it lifts off the circular base, and how the cord can be manually retracted into the base. Heats water quickly and uses only half the electricity of a microwave oven. I chose the smallest due to limited storage, but other sizes are available. Large handle is always cool. I use primarily for pour over coffee and the spout is well designed to control water flow. Looks sharp.

Nearly Perfect.
Runs about 585 watts continuously, is compact, nicely insulated - the outside does not get hot. What I great is that it brings 16 oz of water to a rolling boil, 212 degrees, in about 3 minutes and 15 seconds. Which is as fast as anything I've tested around the 600 watt range. It's nice for camping if you are using a ecoflow delta 3 or other 1024 Watt/Hour power-station ... 3:15 minutes uses about 3-4% of your total ecoflow 1024 Watt/Hour capacity.
