The spinning motion starts when you place the RIZE on its magnetic base which magnetizes the large center screw. This causes the ferrofluid to pull up onto the screw, spike, spin and rise up the screw like a giant buzzsaw. It spins and rises for a couple minutes and then slows down and stops once it all reaches the top.
