Works great and fast to install

I am working with quality dual shield coaxial cable. I use a CAT Universal - FX compression tool. I found these fittings were a wee bit tight but totally acceptable. A firm push with a twist set them well and it compressed well, tight on the cable. The head spun with little effort but was not loose. Back in the day I would buy fittings by the hundreds. I do limited cable work these days. These will work nicely for me. And the price isn't bad compared to other options.

To make it clear, this is not a CIMPLE issue - it is Amazon's issue. The CIMPLE connectors are very good quality, and I have purchased other products of theirs for that reason. The original bag appeared to have ruptured, and Amazon then threw the original bag and apparently whatever connectors they could find into another bag (which also had a tear in it) labeled "Ready to Ship." Instead of the required 25 connectors, it only had 22.

These are the correct type of rg6 coax connections to use

I have tried a few other types, including the silver ones with the blue writing on them. So far these have worked the best. I cut three pieces and put a total of 6 new ends using a crimping tool. 100 % success. With the other ones, about 50% at best, I crimp them and they fall off. Or I crimp then and then screw into a connector and they fall off. My process: I cut off and end, and strip it about an inch from the end. I then take the connector and almost screw it on the end. Keep turning it until it will not slide up anymore. Then I clip the end almost flush with the opening. I then put it in my crimping tool and slowly squeeze down. So far so good! A really secure end.

I ordered these to repair a Rg 6 quad shield coax cable. I had some other connectors but they would not go on the quad shield cable. these were a little tight but did work and make a good connection.

Very difficult getting it on a quad shielded cable. Very frustrating. My hands ached and I'm sure my blood pressure shot way up. Replacing a bad connector a single shielded cable, I was sitting on my 2nd story roof at my TV antenna and just could not get the #*x?(! connector on. Words were said that I won't repeat here. An internet search gave this tip: Warm the cable end with a hair drier. This makes the outer plastic cover much more flexible and allows the connector to be put on with out much trouble.

Thought they were expensive at first but they are awesome quality. Worked great at both ends of a long cable modem run. Would buy again.

Very good connectors for co-ax cabling. To early to tell how durable they are over time. Very easy to install with the right tools.

Not sure if there’s a special tool to compress the fitting but that would be handy. Otherwise they work as described.
