This transceiver worked great in another switch I purchased from Amazon with a no-name Chinese company. I also used it in media converters (fiber to copper) for connecting directly to my computer. It automatically negotiates the speed and was extremely easy to install. It was also compatible in my Intel X710 network card that runs the network for my server to connect to my coax cable modem. The fact this SFP supports multiple speed options is also great because I connected it to a switch with only 10G but it worked fine connected to a 2.5G copper RJ45 jack without any errors, so it must negotiate and rate limit within itself.

I ordered the ASF-10G2-T model, and wanted to use it with my Juniper EX switch, so I immediately messaged the 10Gtek support seller (not for Amazon direct sale, must choose 10Gtek) with my Amazon order number and the information that I wanted my SFP+ modules coded to Juniper specs. The seller ( https://www.amazon.com/sp?marketplaceSeller=1&seller=AE2OZG2NN3099 ) immediately responded and confirmed. I received my order directly from China (less than a week), plugged them into SFP0 and SFP2 on my Juniper EX switch. Worked first time, and link-up with my Intel 10Gig interface on my server without any manual configuration. Great Job 10GTek for a great value quality product with customization and customer service.

Works like a charm, but very hot. Stayed within the documented temperature range/norms when I checked with my thermal camera so I don't expect any issues. The heat makes me nervous for my kids long term however, so I am using this as a short term stopgap.

This review is for 2 devices. The 10GBase-T SFP+ to RJ45 and the 1.25/2.5/5/10G-T SFP+ to RJ45. I'm currently using them both with my Dream Machine SE with no issues. Initially they weren't recognized by the UDM SE but after disabling auto-negotiation on the ports they were both started working. The auto-negotiation on the 1.25/2.5/5/10G-T SFP itself works great, working with both 10GbE and 1GbE devices. I don't currently have 2 devices capable of saturating 10GbE connections but I did run tests using the UDM itself as an iPerf3 server and was getting speeds around 6Gbps, likely limited by the hardware of the UDM.

Works but I eventually replaced it due to needing to reboot the port.
