The easiset way to organize your basement and garage spaces for a low cost!
Easy to mount, folds up when not needed. Less costly than building your own. This is a real game changer for me. I was planning on building a similar system from scratch, then I came across this. I will most likely buy more. It looks great once installed. It can be installed as far apart as needed and on almost any wall type. The storage capacity is excellent (the 'arms' extend ~16" allowing for a lot of wood). The thickness of the steel is solid (be careful not to over-torque the lag bolts as they will bend the metal). One tip: stick the plastic washers to the 'arms' rather than the wall mounts (otherwise they can slide as you put the arms on the wall mounts)

Works as expected, will probably buy another set.

Decent Wall Mount Wood Organizer
These were a little smaller and flimsier than I was expecting. They seem ok, and look pretty good.

Buy these and not the garbage look a-likes
Prelude: Yes, I'm a cheapskate.Chapter 1: So when I was looking for lumber racks, I found these first. It has great reviews and seems to fit my needs. The price was not too bad either. Being the penny pincher I am, I looked around for alternatives. I found a set of 8 for only $20 more. WHAT A DEAL! They look exactly the same so they must be the same, right? I received the windowmaker racks (read on) and opened the box. Hmmm... No instructions and back of bolts busted open rolling about the box. No matter, I just use the products pictures on amazon to figure out how to put them together (which later on I found out that they were assembled wrong in the pictures). I merrily mounted my "what a great deal I hope they don't kill me racks" and started to put some lumber on them. I got a couple of 2x4's and some scrap pieces on then walked away for 20 minutes. I came back and noticed that the arm on one side was starting to bend down. In my confused state, I walked over and put my hand on the arm then SNAPPO. The arm broke off and the lumber fell on me. Fortunately I'm part lumberjack and part beaver so having wood land on my head is a daily occurrence. I measured the thickness of the steel from the broken arm. It measured a whopping 0.8mm. Keep in mind that is with a thick coat of paint which I'm sure they were counting on for structural reasons. I took down the mass deadly shrapnel which decorated my wall, threw it back in the box, and initiated a return.Chapter 2: I searched amazon again for lumber racks and found these, again. I figured I'd buy them even though "they're all the same". These came the next day. Without much exuberance or optimism I opened the box knowing that these were likely to attack me all the same as the first ones. What's this? Instructions? That can't be. What what? Instructions in English that is easy to understand with pictures. I quick measure of the steel of the arm shows... 2.8mm? Okay Mr. Rack, you have me lulled into a false sense of cautious optimism. Let's see here... Sealed bags of bolts, nuts, lag bolts, plastic adhesive backed washers, and steel washers. I followed the directions as a proper Carpentry Engineering Savant (yes, I'm part that too) should do. Mostly because I wanted to know what to do with plastic adhesive backed washer are for. I mean really? Have you ever seen such a thing? Come to find out that the plastic washer are to be stuck to the side of the support beam filling in the gap between the bar and arm thus allowing smooth and less wiggle to the joint. Anywho, I got them mounted and cautiously loaded some lumber on. No bending, creaking, or ominous background music is happening. I figured, Okay Mr. Rack, I'm standing here, take your shot. I don't think it heard me because it didn't take the opportunity to attack.Postlude: Being cheap isn't easy. Sometimes it means taking some wood to the face (insert childish laugh here) to learn a lesson. You got to know when to spend the money. This is a product that's worth it. Don't be tempted to buy a cheap clone. They are not all the same. If you don't believe me, ask my boo boos.

Great wood organizer
This is perfect for the hobbyist woodworker with limited space to store wood waiting for the next project. The wood rack comes with perfectly size lag bolts as well as machine screws, nylon washers, nuts and steel washers for the support arms. The coating on the wood rack has great coverage in the ends of the tubes of plastic in caps so you donโt have to worry about jabbing yourself or a little critters making a new home. Again, this wood rack is for the hobbyist woodworker. Because the spacing in between the support arms is not the largest, but you can certainly store enough wood to do several projects at once. Iโve only installed one so far because Iโm trying to figure out where to place my next rack.

Needed to upgrade the hardware and missing parts
I bought this lumber rack to better organize my woodworking shop. There are pros and cons to this lumber rack. First the cons... doesn't have spacers to put between the wall and brackets causing the racking to mark up the wall, the hardware for mounting the brackets to the wall are insufficient, too short and I needed to go buy 12- 4" hex bolts to secure to my wall property. Lastly, I was missing two bolts in my order and had to purchase two bolts to attach the lumber supports to the wall support. Pros- the value is fair as long as all the hardware is included, the quality of the product is good, and the powder coating is nice. Once I installed my own hardware to secure it to my wall, I can say I'm happy with it. Buyers just beware of the insufficient hardware included, I recommend you purchase better hardware.
