Killer RAM, not necessarily for the current prices but GSkill has always been reliable. Cool, simple RGB effects, not the brightest, but also not a bad thing. Sleek in my build and just what I needed to pair with my 9850X3D.

Been 8 months since I built my last PC, an AMD AM5 PC. MB is ASRock X670E Steel Legend, the (then) best choice for gaming, Ryzen 7 7800X3D CPU & this 32GB kit of GSkill high performance & quality RAM. By chance, it would have been a waste to populate all slots with my particular CPU. Don’t know about other compatible Ryzen X3D models, therefore, please do before purchasing two kits! No cons, especially for those with a CPU cooler with one fan in the center, or like myself, reused my Noctua NH-D15S cooler purchased back in 2015. By chance, when using two fans on this particular cooler, the first fan will clear taller RAM modules by simply raising it a bit, as long as the case itself is large enough. Anyway, about the RAM, after the 1st boot, which took a few minutes, all has been perfect since! EXPO is set to 6000 M/T & the system is very speedy, even during non-gaming usage. BTW, am not a gamer by any means, although do run some benchmarks which uses some gaming software. Although the RGB looks fantastic, cannot see in my (also reused) Fractal Design R5 case with soundproofing material. I chose this simply due to being on GSkill RAM configuration site & was on promo at the time. However, like every other GSkill RAM I’ve purchased, which are quite many, there’s been zero issues for 8+ months & would happily recommend this kit to anyone looking for quality RAM. No regrets on purchase, other than I didn’t choose (or wait on) the 64GB kit to become available. Highly recommend to anyone looking for RAM for X670E chipset!

Hate that the price for ram is literally insane now but if you have to purchase this brand has never let me down

Was more than pleasantly surprised with the G.Skill Trident Z5! Glad I did some research for compatibility with my Gigabyte A620AM C motherboard and AMD Ryzen 5 8400f CPU. G.Skill came highly recommended for my setup along with 3 other recommendations and I also recommend G.Skill ram modules. I went with G.Skill because I bought G.Skill DDR4 ram in the past for another gaming PC I no longer have. Instantly noticed the incredible speed boost in comparison to the 16GB XPG CL48 6000MT/s ram that came with the Walmart CyberPower budget gaming PC. CL30 6000MT/s ram really makes the difference! Was quite nervous buying this ram after reading several nightmare stories about G.Skill and other ram producing companies. Mainly the gripe was regarding one ram module failing or both failing within one month after installation and I really hope that doesn't happen to me. Bought an Asus Nvidia RTX 5060Ti 16GB graphics card also from Amazon because all of the ports on the Gigabyte RTX 5060 8GB graphics card were faulty and the ram that came with the budget PC was also faulty. Even if the hdmi cable moved a little bit the video signal would disconnect and with the ram I had trouble extremely slow booting into Windows at times couldn't boot at all. If you buy a PC from Walmart and the box is tattered and worn, don't buy even if a sales associate claims it is new and lies and claims it's the only PC left yet the price was increased by an extra $100 dollars for the same PC when I tried to return the PC. Was in desperate need of a PC and took a chance and the end result was, I had to file a complaint against the Walmart that sold me that used PC with pictures of the cosmetic damage but what really angered me was the graphics card and ram not working properly. I requested compensation in the form of a partial reimbursement for either the price of the PC or the amount I was forced to spend with Amazon because despite the Walmart receipt stating all electronics have a 30 day return window, I was told it was 14 days during an attempt to return the PC and couldn't return the PC! Hope it goes well and I am financially reimbursed.

These work great with my 7800x3D -- however, I can't give them a full 5 stars. I've since replaced these with a set of 2x32GB to have a total of 64GB of RAM for the productivity work that I do, but first tried matching this exact pair up 2x over to have 4x16, and it did not work at *all*. That's not an issue with the RAM, that's more an issue with how Ryzen handles anything more than 2 sticks of RAM these days. But, if you're like me and trying to match this with itself to get more RAM without having buy an all new set - don't.
