StepNGrip Courtside Shoe Grip Traction Mat - Newest Sticky Mat

Reusable! We noticed a lot of "shoe debris" was being brought into our "clean room" and we did not want the super wasteful tear and throw away sheet types so we went for these. Initially, they are SO STICKY they will take your shoe off! Impressive. They get dirty quick; you won't realize how much "stuff" your shoes pick up. At first, I was bummed because we gently washed them with soap and water as per the instructions and they lost their stick BUT being the responsible seller that these sellers are (big ups Michigan) they had sent a follow up purchase email suggesting isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol). I picked up a spray bottle of it and gently sprayed the mat and wiped it. Within minutes it was super sticky again! You def. don't need a lot of alcohol so don't let that dissuade you. These mats are made WELL. Super sturdy, handle for ease of carrying, storage and the back has a great non-skid coating on them. Over all, just a nicely made, high quality, non wasteful product. Thanks for making them!

This has a few small bubbles in it but so far it is decent. Comes clean relatively easy and after 4 uses is still very sticky after cleaning. Will try to update this in the future. Customer service was great for the seller!

Works really well so far, I like the scuff pad and the gel. I haven't needed to clean it yet, so I can't speak to its longevity, but it really works for getting the stick back onto our shoes. So much so we're also buying a personal size one as well for just my son. ***UPDATE 1/13/2018*** This thing is still going really well, and is really easy to clean and get the stick back - just run it under warm water and scrub it with a scotch brite dobie pad. Dirt comes off really easy with minimal scrubbing, and it also dries quickly to get back to its stickiness. We're really happy we bought this and keep this one at home. We also have the small personal size one that my son keeps in his basketball packpack that also works great (just doesn't have the scuff pad).

I bought this for my 13U volleyball team. I used it for our game today and it worked great cleaning off their shoes. It looked trash after our game. I didn't see how I could possibly clean all that dirt and grime off of it. I just followed the instructions for cleaning and it cleaned up perfectly. Looked like new after I cleaned it! Once it dried, it was sticky and tacky again. This is a great product and I like that I don't have to keep buying sticky sheets like some of the other pads.

Worked for about one week then stopped being sticky and started breaking off.

If you are thinking this board is only for High School/College, think again. We bought this for a 9-10yo Park & Rec team, and a more competitive private league. My only regret was not purchasing it sooner. We saw other "tear away" type boards but the films seemed to stick and get trapped on the player's shoes. This board is heavy enough to stay put and not flex (for the most part - it will lift if the players shoes are already clean to begin with). My 10 year old plays on 2 teams. We used the mat for games on Saturday and Sunday this weekend for the first time. The Saturday court is filthy. Many of our key players are afraid to do a jump stop because they will slip and fall or get a traveling call. This is the first time I heard court squeaks in that gym and it was coming from our team - not theirs. Our entire team used it. They all stepped on it before the game and whenever they subbed in. It only takes 2 seconds. Not only does this give our players better traction, but it gives them the confidence to play harder and move faster because they aren't worried about slipping. In our second game on Sunday, the court was in better condition but the amount of dirt/hair/sand the traction mat grabbed was still astonishing. Cleanup is easy and takes a few minutes in the sink with soap and water. Per the manufacturer's directions I hit it with a light coat of rubbing alcohol after I used the soap and water to fully de-grease it. I think that helps a bit with the tackiness of the gel. I have only used it twice, but it feels like this board will give us some good use. I meant to take a picture of the board after one use, and I will do that after next week's games.

I run a volleyball league and thought this would be a nice addition. It works VERY well when it is new and when it is clean. The back of the board is soft rubber coated, so it doesn't slide around when you're trying to use it. The problem I have is, it loses 75% of its tackiness after only being used by a few people. Our league runs in 4 time slots. It's pretty much useless after the first two time slots, so I clean it again for the second half of the evening. ...works well again until a few people use it. The league just ended (lasted for 3 months), and this mat is about half as effective as it was when it was brand new, even when freshly cleaned. I won't be replacing it for next year, at least not with the same thing. Most of the players suggested I get the kind that you peel off layers. It might last longer for personal use or with small groups, but it wasn't worth it's price for us. (We have 20 teams in the league, separated into in two divisions that play on two different nights. Also, we dust mop the floor every week before the games start so there's as little dirt on the floor as possible.)

Bought for my son Junior High School team . They enjoyed used it when subbing in/out of games. As to limit the slipping and swiping off dust.

Purchased this for my son’s basketball coach as a gift that keeps on giving. The basketball team tried it tonight at their game and it was a hit. Works extremely well to take dust and dirt off of shoes.

Easy to clean off after each use.

My teams loved it. I got comments on how effective it is. Clean it with half portion of rubbing alcohol and water after each game and you are all set for many years of usage! I truly recommend it!

At first, it was really good. I would say it lasted for about 20 games. I had to wash it every 3 games. Only water for rinse the dust. I bought it on November 2025 and after 5 months of use, it’s no moré sticky. Don’t buy it, it’s not worth.

Works well but if gym floors are too dusty the grip doesn't last.
