Knee Pain
Well the sleeve is easy to get on and stays in place but my knee is still a struggle. Unfortunately surgery is probably the answer. I feel supported while wearing it and would definitely recommend it to others.

Huge help for my meniscus tear injury
I had a meniscus tear on my knee and boy did it hurt. I wore this for a few days and didn’t notice any difference so stopped wearing it. After two weeks of really bad pain I went back to wearing it and it really helps after all. I wear it pretty much all the time. I’m going have arthroscopic repair soon, so hopefully will not need it ever again but it’s very helpful. Measure your knee and pick the size that makes sense. It is snug, but I noticed over time it stretches out. After I washed it and let it air dry it became a little more tight for a few days after that. But I found it very helpful to reduce the pain and movement that caused the pain. I even wear it in bed at night.

Good product
I just have worn it since yesterday when I received it. It has helped my knee swelling … Arthritis , it is comfortable to wear . I bought the large size so it’s not too tight. The top band did make dot impressions on my leg.. turned inside out but this way doesn’t grip as well .

Stabilizes knee,but it isn't comfortable.
I mean, it seems that like the elastic on it.Just behind the knee, really cuts into my leg.The rest of it feels very comfortable, but that wide band is not real comfortable.

Just ordered a 2nd one!
Purchased because I do need a total knee replacement, but cannot have it done at this time due to time off work. I have weakness, inconsistency in my step and pain along the lateral aspect of my knee as I struggle with all of these simultaneously, and daily. Pros: 1. MUCH support! I wear this even at home because I never know when my next step will make my knee want to give way, and while it isn't a replacement for a new knee, where the support is above and below the knee cap, makes a HUGE amt of difference! 2. Above and below the kneecap, there is extra suport as noted in the slight variation in the fabric and also construction from the inside. 3. Slides on easily. 4. Washes well, I do it on gentle, cold, and hang to dry. Cons: 1. I was worried as it seems flimsy and a bit tight to put on first time. Once I stood up though? WOW! I just ordered a 2nd one! 2. I balked at the price at 1st, but now, for me, totally worth it. *I was wrapoing my knee with an Ace wrap and then putting a Velcro splint over it, but have switched to this. NOTE: this does not take away all thr pain or instability, but makes it managable.

No compression or support
Offered zero compression and no support, only tight around the top and bottom bands, the entire center was loose like nylons. Also very tight, ran smaller than the size chart.

helps
I've done an enormous amount of cycling, hiking and running in my time, from a teenager all the way up. I'm 54 now and slowed way down and my previously strong knees are starting to ache a little. When my dog pulls on her leash walking downhill, I am starting to feel that my knees are not as strong as they once were. I'm no longer bench pressing 175lb with my legs. While walking on an icy road in January, pulled by the dog, I slipped and fell. I'm walking only 2 miles a day and standing at my kitchen sink all day nowadays. I finally found sneakers with optimum support which helped my knees not ache but I still felt a little weak on my right one so I bought one of these sleeves. Never worn one before. It definitely helped maintain my balance and kept me more steady on my walks. It's fairly comfortable too. Wearing it feels like my knee is "put together" like maybe this sleeve is holding loose things in place. I'm lucky my knees aren't worse and this just helps me do a little exercise.

Overjoyed at how well this worked for IT band related knee stuff
I know someone said this is not designed for IT band problems but this is just what I needed and they worked !! I dont' have a real injury but I have had knee pain on long hikes and downhills since my 20s (I'm now in my 50s). Tried these during training and hiking for 7 days in the Dolomites (steep ups and downs). I wore them most often with compression socks which helped me avoid foot pain on 10 mile plus days with a pack. Protecting my knee even helped me avoid hip pain which often comes next for me with lots of running and walking- it's all IT band stuff and as I said, I couldn't be happier that this compression and some attention to my alignment when walking helped me totally avoid lot's of pain and tendonitis while doing the stuff I like to do. I recommend paying close attention to the sizing. I am only 5' and was surprised I needed a large based on my thigh circumference but the large was perfect (not too tight not too loose). It stayed in place over my knee and a compression sock all day while walking and running 10 miles plus due to some gel on the inside. One word of caution is that the inside of the material can pull easily, one of mine came with a pull in it but it wasn't worth exchanging. Roll them like socks with the insides in so they don't get caught on rough objects.

Sport senza dolori!

Does what it says on the tin!
Comfortable, well fitting, doesn't move, doesn't cause sweating like neoprene, did not feel like i was wearing an ortho anything. Perfectly helped my brain with prioperception, wore for long weekend of walking and didn't do my usual misplacement of foot or twists.
