Perfect for travel
I actually have an ankle issue, have for years, no one knows quite what the problem is, but while it has seen some improvement lately, I still have issues when I travel long distances. I do have a couple braces I use when flying, I'll put them on before I even have a problem, but this has been my carry on brace, it folds up neatly into the pocket of my backpack, I can pop it out if I have trouble, if I don't have one of my preferred braces, or if I'm wearing shoes that won't accommodate the bulk of the other braces, which is usually the case with all my winter shoes (I live in a heavy snow area). This helps support my ankle, comfortably, without biting anywhere, or random seams digging into my skin. Very comfortable, lightweight, does exactly what I need it to, and bonus that it travels well. I'll be picking up a couple more, just in case of flare ups, and for the inevitable time that this is in the wash and I'm out of braces.

Seems to work but awkward fit
Sadly, I seem to have inherently my father's poor joints, and I recently partially tore some ligaments in my ankle. As the healing has gone on, I have less need of a full support brace. I have a bandage wrap, but that's more support as well. I saw this was for reducing swelling, and after some workdays I definitely could use that.I looked at every picture, and none have the measuring for the ankle support, they all seem to show the knee brace. So, that's cool. But I'm 6'5", so I went with the larger size. And it fits, kinda. So, for some reason this fits my foot, my ankle, then is absurdly loose around my ankle. Who has such intensely large lower calves I wonder. In terms of actual function, I feel it does do a better than average job of reducing swelling. It's certainly not a "support" in any meaningful way, but I find that a plus because it's flexible enough to sleep in, and I notice the difference when I do.TL;DR - needs a size guide, and the large size is strangely proportioned. Not a support, but does reduce swelling after a long day.

Purple toes
My husband wears a size 13 wide shoe so we assumed the biggest size would fit. He wore it at work one day and did fine. The second day however, his foot started hurting a LOT. The sleeve was for a broken foot that was fixed via surgery so he gave it a little bit thinking it was just that. When he couldn't deal with the pain any more, he took his shoe off to remove the sleeve and his toes were PURPLE from the circulation being cut off. This was the ONLY ankle sleeve we could find that doesn't say "compression" so we assumed it would be fine. It obviously wasn't. Just a heads up for anyone with bigger/wider feet, this may not be for you.

Great Support
This CURAD Performance Series IRONMAN Infrared Ankle Support, Elastic, Large/X-Large is a great ankle support brace that can help you get through your day when you have an injured ankle.I needed this because I aggravated an ankle injury that I had previously but had been fine for a while, and this brace offered the perfect amount of support to allow me to continue doing my daily activities without having to take time off. This brace is perfect because it still allows me to put on my shoe with this brace on which is a rare thing for most ankle braces since they add too much bulk.Overall, this is a great ankle support brace that helps me get through my day without having to take time off to recover and the brace isn't too bulky so it still fits in my shoe comfortably. 5/5 stars.

Not useful at all
This ankle support, Made in China, shouldn't have made it out of the idea phase. The "infrared" aspect is a joke, there's no bend (you know - for your ankle) and no adjustments, it's uncomfortable to wear, and you're pretty much guessing at what size to get, which likely will be incorrect. Maybe get some real stiff starch, cut the toes out of a tube sock, and starch it and then use it as ankle support. Poor product, poor execution. Would not recommend.

L/XL is WAY too large for a woman's foot!
I bought these for my wife because she has Achilles tendon issues and needs ankle support while working out. She wears a woman's size 10 shoe, so I purchased the L/XL. This hangs off of her foot! It is lightweight without any metal supports, so it seems like it would be good support but flexible enough to do activities in. Just be aware that if you are a woman, you will most likely need the S/M size.

Good Feel, Different Sizes
The media could not be loaded. Note that this brace comes in different sizes, so you can get a tight one or loose depending on what you want. Note that it is quite warm and design as such, reflecting heat back at your ankle.Curad has a few of these new braces out now, all designed to reflect the heat back at your aches and pains.Check out my video for a look at the brace.

No result
Just like wearing a sock. No compression, no support, barely knee it was there. Sizing is right but results are null.
