"READ THIS BOOK AND USE IT." TIM FERRISS Millions of highly effective people have become more successful by understanding the simple fact that 80% of your results come from 20% of your efforts. All you have to do is identify the 20 percent that leads to 80 percent. The 80/20 Principle shows you how. Richard Koch's million-copy-selling global bestseller is now completely revised and updated, and more powerful and essential than ever. He reveals how the principle works and shows how to use it in a systematic and practical way to vastly increase your effectiveness, and improve your career. The unspoken corollary to the 80/20 principle is that little of what you spend your time on actually counts. But by concentrating on those things that do, you can unlock the enormous potential of the magic 20 percent. Discover how to identify the few methods that will lead to great results, and use them alone. Avoid hard work. Don't push water uphill. Be very selective in what you do. Have a great life. 80/20 is the essential tool for anyone who wants to succeed. Be more effective with less effort by learning how to leverage the 80/20 principle. Review: Reframes Your Mindset and Habits - This book's primary messages are now a part of how I think and operate. Continuous improvement using 80/20 is key; you just keep iterating until you can squeeze no more out of what you're optimizing. Then you can evaluate what you're optimizing for as well and improve that. Basically, stack the deck in your favor and when it makes sense get aggressive about it to see real growth and improvement in something. I try to design spreadsheets that automatically display results in a way that I can quickly spot which 20% is giving me 80% of the upside and downside. Review: Brilliant, insightful, actionable, required reading. - Richard Koch has spent 30 years decoding the underpinnings of business (and life) in the post-digital world. His distinction between online business and networked businesses is eye-opening. The 4th edition of The 80/20 Principle starts with Pareto's observations that, as the economy moved from agriculture to tightly integrated manufacturing, a minority (20%) of the moving parts created most (80%) of the profits. We're now moving, from that supply-chain economy where large organizations drive growth to a rapidly evolving networked economy. If you want to discern how your career or business or nonprofit or even happiness can thrive -- I can't imagine anyone doing that without Koch's practical wisdom of a lifetime of study and practice -- and his deep caring about how it all turns out.

An 80/20 Thatโs 400 Pages Long?
Not sure if Iโm the first person to point this out but how does a book, whose principle claim is that 20% of inputs equal 80% of outputs, come in at 400 pages? Donโt get me wrong, the book is packed with plenty of useful information and research about Pareto principles, but there is a lot of repetitive information within the pages. I believe the author could shrink this down (not ironically) by about 80% and still meet their mission.

One of the most important books I've ever read
If you read just one Richard Koch book - this is it. Simple conceptually, not easy to apply consistently across all areas of your life. Super high impact when applied correctly.

Damaged item
The book's back side is damaged. It's a pity as I was looking forward to reading it and keeping it on the long run.
