Upgrade from a manual bilge
Bought a used bass boat recently and have been going through the boat, getting it ready for the water and I find everything working fine, butmy bilge was manual switched on only. Now, if I'm just having the boat in the water while using it, that's fine, but, intend to have this docked on the lake, so when unattended, I have that security knowkñg if the boat does happen to start taking on water in my absence, well, I won't arrive to mooring ropes hanging off the side of the dock with a submerged boat down there. The other side feature with this auto pump, is that it is a three wire setup. Meaning. One continuous hot(or ON thru an on/off/ on switch) and, full auto function wired with fuse to constant switched power on the other side of that on/off/on switch on the dash. Nice thing is, my manual switch pump was already pre wired in the boat. And it still works, so I extracted it for later use, then with its existing wiring, easily wired for the fully auto function, then just simply crimp on your different colored wire for that manually switched side, crimp on a good waterproof fuse block and connect that to the other side of the switch, which was also swapped out from an on/ off to an on/off/ on switch, put the little rubber switch cover on, and I'm done. Fully functional, more reliable insurance. The best feature I noticed really is that, if the boat is trailered, I can simply turn the switch to off, and have no live wires back there in the transom and sump, incidently where a 15 gallon fuel cell rests also. I already know this brand and trust it already, it's a no brainer. Oh, and at 750 gal/h, the pump rating? Unless someone took a Browning BAR to your hull? It pumps the water out plenty fast, battery health is your only other concern there.

Nice that it comes with good documentation and flow charts
EDIT: The original unit broke after a short time and the seller promptly replaced it. I have not had a chance to test the replacement yet but it's great that the seller has prompt customer service. This is my original review: I was looking at a competing brand that supposedly is made in the USA , but that one had really poor documentation with flow charts in Chinese units. This one is made in China but it actually comes with good documentation in English including flow charts. Good product for half the price. A few installation tips: 1) If you use this with a check valve, drill a small 1/16" hole before the check valve so the air can get out. Otherwise if you suck any air, a pocket of air can get trapped before the check valve and then the pump won't prime. 2) with 10' cables and a standard battery I wasn't quite getting enough head pressure so I bumped up the voltage with a separate power supply. You can get more pressure with more voltage 3) This unit does need to be level for the float to work reliably. Initially I had mine just attached to the hose which kept it in place just fine but it wasn't quite level, and the float would hang up. Sometimes it would fail to turn on and sometimes it would fail to turn off. I got a piece of hardy board that doesn't rot and screwed the pump to that, and that fixed it. Good product, been in use for a month orso now. I got this after my old pump did not draw down the water low enough. This one draws it down nice and low, maybe 1-2".

Seaflo bilge pump works good.
I purchased this bilge pump for my 1986 basstracker bass boat it works good for a small boat. Compact makes it user-friendly in just about any location. It's quite and pumps out pretty quickly.

Great buy.
This thing moves some water. Great pump. I leave my boat in the water and this pump makes sure it stays afloat. We’ve had some crazy rain storms and the automatic float switch keeps the water out. It has a bigger inlet than the old one so I had to run a new line but it was worth it.

Product meets expectations
Item is what I expected. I haven’t installed it yet so I can’t comment on it’s performance.
