Great, low tech product! When attached properly the loofah stays securely in place. The wood handle and replaceable loofah prevent the mold/mildew that collect at the base of fixed head brushes. The loofah delivers a gentle scrub.

First I love how and where this is made. That's a definite plus. The loofah plumps right up after soaking it in warm water. It's easy to attach and stays on, unlike the ones where the wood slides together and after awhile keeps falling off due to warping. I like that the loofah is on both sides which is convenient. It's rough enough to get the dead dry skin but not so rough that your skin is sore.

hello we have ordered several refills and several long wooden scrubbers. the scrubber brush comes with several pads. the first ones we bought worked well and the more we used them, the faster they fell apart. but, remember, you are scrubbing. so, we put it off to the material used in the brush that came apart. it is useless to try and fix the tear or coming apart of the fibers. so, ordering replacement pads was a quick way to get new surfaces for scrubbing. they work rather well and lasted a little longer than the original pads that came with the scrubber unit. now, several worn out pads later, we ordered the latest set of scrubbers and extra pads. someone in the design department must have been listening to the reviews or trial/error in the labs. the newest pad is so well made and much different than the original wooden unit with scrubbing pads from a long time ago. the new pads are thicker, same consistency in the scrub surface, but they dont wear down with rubbing soap on the fibers. also, the stick handle will not come through as there is a thicker material under the string fibers of the scrubbing surface. a great replacement and kudos to the design team or lab investigators from the company. it is a much improved pad and it still fits the original long wooden handle. for the taller people, perhaps a longer wooden handle would be the next option for the testing in the lab. thanks for a great product.

This is a good product but I'm very displeased that they don't actually sell the refill pads for it. You need to sell like a 6 pack of pads!

I really love this product. Mine has not gotten any mold or mildew. Still looks pristine, never had a smell or any issues. I do pull it out of the shower after i use it and let it dry hanging from a rack. Never had a single problem. I really enjoy that is has 2 different textures. Softer on one side, a little firmer texture on the other side. Both are great and neither is too harsh for me. It also looks great to me. Kind of natural and zen if you ask me. Spa-like. I hear what people are saying about maybe it would be better with a curved handle. I agree, if they ever get a curved handle, I'll be first in line for that. But if not, I'm good too. This current one I have is great.

I chose this loofa instead of a brush because I didn't want bristles that were either too hard or too soft. This loofa seems just right. It is on the rough side when dry and then softens when wet, but even when wet, it has enough scrubbing power. So, either way, it works well. A curved handle would probably make it easier to use on one's back, but I found that changing my hand position makes the straight handle work just fine. I am very happy that I bought this. Congratulations to the women who make them!

It’s easy to handle and helps me clean my back. Product looks nice, and the handle is very elegant and sturdy. The loofah tends to hang down a bit even after tying it to the handle, though - could’ve had a tighter fit. Still I’d recommend this.

These are great, wish they lasted longer. You’ll see the black buildup coming on them soon cos they’re thin

The only drawback is the scrubber is attached by a string which can come loose when wet.

If this comes into contact with water it goes mouldy after 2-3 uses with black mold
