I wanted to take advantage of quarantine down time and learn to play the ukulele. I poured over all the different uke brands; read hundreds of reviews; watched a lot of YouTube to make a decision on which ukulele I should purchase. I finally settled on this one. The price is great. The uke is cute as heck (I wanted a traditional shape). The strings are nice. There are a ton of great accessories. But most importantly, after a week of farting around and practicing, this ukulele stays in tune quite well. I'm new to the uke, but I play a number of other instruments and know how annoying it is to be out of tune in the middle of a song and wanted to avoid that. I think this uke stays in tune well because it's laminate instead of wood and is less affected by humidity changes (which are very drastic in Massachusetts). I love the rich sound. I love how I can practice quietly without disturbing the entire house. However, you can definitely strum a little bit harder to produce as much sound as you need. All in all I am so happy I chose this uke and have played it every day. It has given me so much joy and relaxation.

The Tenor Ukulele (EUT-X1) is very nice and seems to be easier to play than the soprano that I bought in a different brand. It is a nice size instrument and comes with a nice bag to carry and store it in. The headstock is a bit thick making it harder to clip the tuner on to it. However, this makes the uke a bit more sturdy - so it is a minor complaint. The included tuner is nice and will also work with a guitar a violin or a baritone ukulele (and maybe something else I am not remembering.) The strap is also a nice addition. The less than perfect: 1.The picks included are plastic not felt picks. Felt picks are the true and proper ukulele picks. A rubber pick will also work well. 2. The capo that is included is a very cheap plastic device. After the first use, the spring fell out of it. These two items should probably be replaced in the package by the manufacturer. But don't let that discourage you from buying this ukulele. They are the only reason I didn't give this five stars. I have been playing this ukulele for about three weeks and I am impressed with the instrument. I was hesitant about buying an instrument made in China. However, a ukulele teacher gave it high reviews. So I took a chance. I am very glad that I did. This ukulele makes me *want* to keep playing. The sound is sweet even with the included strings. I did buy two other brands of strings based on the other reviews, but I have not felt the need to change from the strings that came on it. The tuner has worked flawlessly also. The gig bag is nicely padded and has a nice pouch on the front for extra strings - and other things you may want to carry with you. The strap is a nice addition as the ukulele has strap pegs installed from the factory. The finger shaker works, but I have only tried it out - not really played while using it. Overall, this is a great package. (even with the poor capo and plastic picks.) Buy it for the ukulele, tuner and bag - it is well worth the price. Edit - Update: I changed the rating to five stars. Enya sent me a replacement Capo that is all metal and works beautifully. As for the picks - don't worry about those. The ukulele is best played by picking with your finger(s) and thumb.

Enya is perhaps the most popular affordable Ukulele brand from China with a positive reputation for its quality. And as many people are discovering Enya ukulele, especially the popular Enya Nova U carbon fiber travel ukulele. Having had success with Enya products, I definitely wanted to give the Enya Concert Ukulele (EUC-X1). The company includes with the EUC-X1, a gig bag, a bag, a strap, a capo, picks, wiping cloth, backup fluorocarbon strings, a tuner and shaker. It's no doubt a beautiful laminate HPL Koa materials (for the top, back and sides) with a BT neck junction, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, high-end tuning pegs, a matte finish and Enya carbon strings. The concert ukulele has a strap button right below the center of the ukulele and another right at the bottom of the rear of the neck. I didn't see any sloppy glue inside the soundhole and for the most part, the ukulele is well-built. But the best part is looking at the slotted headstock and its tuning pegs. It's part of the reason why I wanted this ukulele. For those who are considering the Enya Concert Ukulele EUC-X1 as their first or second ukulele, the good news is that there are side dots on the side of the neck. For the most part, this concert ukulele looks amazing and plays very well. But I suppose, part of me wish I got the tenor version (as I play more efficiently with a tenor vs. a concert or soprano ukulele). But for the most part, this is another inexpensive, solid quality ukulele for under $100 and not only do you get an unlimited warranty, you also get access to their music app. There is a reason why Enya ukuleles are gaining a lot of attention worldwide and I highly recommend checking one out!

ウクレレ歴１年。２本目としてはじめてコンサートサイズ(ピックアップなし)を購入しました。 １本目に購入したaria au2に比べて、音があまり前に出ないくぐもったような印象でしたが、弾き込んでいくうちにあまり気にならなくなりました。音が小さく出せる分、自宅での夜の練習などで重宝しています。 手触りなどは、やはり木目のプリントだなぁというそれなりな感じです。ariaの方がさわり心地は好きです。 でも音色はEUC X1の方が気に入っているので、届いてからはこちらでばかり弾いています。 価格に似合う良品でたいへん満足です。

EUS-X1,EUC-X1Mに続いて、EUC-X1Cを購入しました。amazonからの発送になったので、３日ほどで問題なく届きました。 初めてのカッタウェイタイプで、ソロ弾きの練習に使い始めました（X1Mは知人にプレゼントしました）。 本体に傷もなく、フレットの処理も問題ありませんでした。調整したのは、弦高を自分の弾きやすいように少し下げたことと弦の変更です。サスティーンが長く、ＨＰＬの音色も以前から気に入っているので、満足しています。 問題は、いつ頃、ＨＰＬを卒業するかです。

I purchased this ukelele nearly 3 months ago, and it is now the only ukelele that I play. It arrived before the advertised date and was well packed. The ukelele was a real surprise, it looks good, it has a lower action and is both easy and a pleasure to play. The strings took a while to settle in, but it was well worth the wait. The tone and volume are both extremely good , and now it holds its tune for days at a time without adjustment. It comes fitted with strap buttons which saves the trouble and expense of fitting them. The gigbag is well padded and of high quality. The tuner which is also included works well and along with spare strings, a strap and many goodies are enclosed in useful bag. If this had been my first Ukulele I need never have bought another! The after sales service provided by Enya is second to none, if you should have a need to contact them you will find them fast,efficient and extremely helpful and friendly.

This ukulele is amazing and really good! It has a really good quality and a great sound too. I’m so impressed and surprised too. I can’t descrobe how nice the feeling and the sound is while playing it.

I received this ukulele for my birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised with how it was packaged so well, bubble wrap, and in Enya’s own branded cardboard box. Once opened, the ukulele came within an extremely highly padded gig bag, single padded strap down the back and a padded side handle. The uke fits snugly inside. In terms of the actual product, I think that the rockstar like quality of it is very unique and its overall tone is excellent. The headstock has geared tuners and very low action, so playing chords like Bbm isn’t painful and has no fret buzz. The body has a satin finish, and Enya’s own nylon strings. The fretboard is black and the body is a light mahogany colour. The accessories that the ukulele comes with are high quality, and the tuner has a battery. I love this ukulele and definitely recommend it to an intermediate/ professional player, as it is completely worth the price.
