Is this cocoa power truly jet black? I bought another brand of black cocoa that was actually very dark brown.

This cocoa is a very very dark brown; darker than some I have used in the past that were touted as “black.” This one does add a nice pop of richness, though. I have not been able to find a true black cocoa in years.
