MERACH S36 Exercise Bike, Magnetic Resistance, 330lbs Capacity

Great bike, no noise, assembly was easy, it’s really easy to move around and comfortable, I use towel over the handle bars just to help with grip and sweat, water bottle holder is not big enough, but I use them to hold other accessories instead. It’s been 400 days since I bike every day for 30 minutes , not a single problem, even included battery lasted over 300 days. No problems with gears and shifting. It make little noise sometimes, but it’s more because how you pedal. Not a single scratch, damage or broken piece, app works great with iOS, not sure about Android. Keeps all my statistics but apple fitness and health app can’t read full data from it, but it doesn’t matter to me. I will use it as long as it last and maybe then upgrade or get same thing again.

*05/06/2023* Update on my purchase and for my initial review: Merach contaced me and have made this right. I'm very pleased, didn't expect this at all. So kind and generous of Merach, a pleasure to do business with this company. This indoor bicycle is very quiet to ride. I like the fact when I ride I can hear my trainer video without having to turn the volume up. I can ride it any time of day or night and it doesn't disturb others in the house. It's great that it has bluetooth and an app to help track my progress. The progress seems a bit unconventional and perhaps(?) inaccurate. I don't know for sure as this is a first for me to use an app to track. I can ride for more than 30 minutes, on level 4 resistance, at a good clip, sweating, and it says I've only peddled just over 28 feet and burned 80 calories. I'd hate to see what I'd need to do to burn more calories! 🤣 I don't think the app and bike talk nicely to one another. I'd like an adjustable set of the handlebars so shorter people like me can adapt them to what I need most. Overall, made of excellent quality materials. 04/2023: More for Off-Seat Peddling. It's painful in the private areas when leaning forward to reach handle bars while peddling, if you're standing while peddling of course it's not.

I generally wait for a few months before I write my review, because you need to have a long term perspective on any product you use. I've had this for around 4 months now, and here are some of the good and bad things about this bike- Good: -- Reasonably inexpensive, -- Seems well made, -- Easy to assemble -- Near silent ride. Bad: -- It's wobbly. I'm on the taller side of an average user (6'3"). And while the bike does say that it supports someone of my height, i had to raise the seat and handle all the way to the end for me to fit. Even after doing that I feel crammed riding it; not to mention the bike seems a bit wobbly if I pedal too hard. I suspect if you're an average height, it probably would not matter; but since I've raised the fork and handle so high, it's probably causing stability issues. -- Accuracy : If you just care about riding, this does not matter. However, I noticed that the distance accuracy is wildly optimistic on this bike. On a normal bike i usually do 12 miles an hour, and with the same amount of effort on this bike, I've noticed that I end up somewhere in the range of around 25-26 miles in one hour. -- Bluetooth: The bluetooth is finicky, and mine stopped reporting resistance after a few months. The other readings are being recorded, but I'm afraid it's only a matter of time before they stop being recorded by the APP as well. -- Support: Non existent. I reached out to technical support from their website about the bluetooth issues, and nobody bothered to get back to me. So make sure not to expect anything on that end, if something goes wrong. Summarizing, next time I'd probably pay a little bit more but buy an exercise bike from a more reputable manufacturer. Your mileage may vary, but I definitely do not want to buy anything from this company again. ---- ---- Update : 1/29/2024 ---- I am amending my review to 4 stars. While the bike still has the issues I mentioned beforehand, I want to acknowledge Merach customer support in this review. They reached out to me and issued me a full refund of the bike to compensate for the hassles I have faced. Hopefully they will fix these issues in the next model upgrade of this exercise bike. Considering my positive experience with them, I'm inclined to give them another shot once they fix these issues and will look forward to purchase that model.

Easy to assemble. Took me about an hour to put together. Instructions were on point. The bike is super quiet. Sturdy and quality made.

So first off, the very first pro about this bike is you are NOT tied into an app like other bikes. YES, it has an app, YES it is totally free, and YES it has a lot of cool stuff, but if you want to just jump on, use your fitness tracker on your wrist for example, you are good to go. Second thing that is great is in fact the free app. There are a ton of spin programs on there for free, the video quality is 1080p, and there is even 3 videos where it is just scenery and you can pedal along. This thing is PET FRIENDLY too! We have 4 cats....there is no exposed wheel, etc, that they can get hurt with....it is an encased magnetic flywheel. With that too....it is VERY QUIET to pedal on this thing. You seriously cannot hear a thing. I cannot honestly find a single con about it other than if you have more than one person in the house using the app, there is no way to add multiple people to the app other than you have to log out, create an account for each user, then each person has to logon/logoff each time they use the bike.....but if that is the only con....who cares! If you want a quality bike that works, is PET SAFE, and gets a lot of bang for the buck....buy this....like now.

Update 8/3 The Customer service truly is impeccable. They reached out to me addressing my concerns. They sent me a new seat which is much more comfortable and makes the ride much more enjoyable. They have also been working trying to try and address the issue with the dropping of service between my tablet and the bike. The connection does work better with my phone. The bike was a bit tricky to put together. Putting directions on the cardboard that is ripped off caused not being able to read. And having to switch back and forth instructions was frustrating. The appearance of the bike is great! Very sharp looking. And it is SO quiet. Amazing honestly how quiet it is. However, just like many other reviews.. the seat is UNBEARABLE. It hurts so much. And also as others stated, I downloaded the MERACH app. I bought a tablet specifically to have a larger screen while using the app. The connection constantly drops making it very frustrating. I also like the ride along outside- but there are only 2 for a bike.

Updated 7/9/23: After writing my feedback, the company reached out to me and offered several solutions to assist with the issues noted. Their customer service is top notch. Based on my experience with their customer service, I would recommend this company. I don't usually accept a "deal" from a company in exchange for more positive feedback, however their customer service definitely earned an extra ☆. On another note, I have not had time to upgrade the seat and pedals yet. After my school finals I will do that. I will say one of the best features of this bike is the adjustability. The second is the sturdy construction. Do understand that you will not be able to ride like in a marathon. The bike does get wobbly when the faster or harder you pedal. It won't fall over thanks to the sturdy construction. I will continue to update this post as needed. Just know that the company's customer service will take care of you if there is an issue. Original review: 3☆This is an initial review. I just received this bike July 1st 2023. I will update in a week or so. Pros: • Very well packaged. Package weighed about 80 pounds I think. • Fairly simple to assemble, assembly took 45 minutes • Very sturdy • Many adjustments for the handlebar height, seat height and forward and back for the seat • Water bottle holders • Moves easily on the carpet. • The footprint of the bike is much smaller than I anticipated. Cons: • Like everyone has said, the seat is awful. Not even 5 min in and the seat is causing shooting pain. The seat has very little give and is hard when you sit on it. • Pedals. These are not ordinary bike pedals with a strap like most stationary bikes. This design will encompass the top half of your shoe. More like professional pedals with teeth and a rubber-like material that has a strap through it for your shoe to go into. I will need to switch these out. Despite being adjustable to fit different size shoes, I want to just get on the bike and get my workout done. I don't want to hassle with straps. I also don't want to get my feet stuck if I need to get off the bike. • IPad holder is small. I had hoped to be able to either have a book or place my laptop on it. The lip to hold the IPad, is small. I have a Samsung z-fold and it will not fit unless I open it and remove the stylus. For reference, the lip is just wider than a pencil. Not likely you will be able to fit an IPad with a case on there (no case would probably fit). • The water bottle holders are laying down. I try not to use water bottles with lids because if I drop the lid, I have to stop. I can't put the water bottle back in the holder as it will force the bottle to lay down. It's workable, but not ideal for me. • Some scuffs and scratches on the parts, most are hidden on the bottom. Nothing major, but something to note. Overall, I like the bike. I will have to get different pedals and a different seat. I have not yet tested the Bluetooth function and app, but I will include that with my update. For the price, I can't complain too much, but a few upgrades would make this bike next level. Would I recommend this: • Yes if you are willing to upgrade a few things like the seat and pedals and you are willing to compromise on the small IPad holder and laying your water bottles down. • No if you want a comfortable workout out of the box. I will update this review soon.

Grand Total with tax :$237.59 (60 bucks off from amazon coupon) Anyway, completely quiet ! The app connecting to my android phone with bt very easy and autostop works perfectly. Out of the saddle plenty of load or fast 100rpm fast twitch (albeit centrifuged) spinning. Has standard threading for pedals and seat mounting rails. Put my Shimano XTR pedals on it easily as well as my high end saddle. Fits both myself 5'9" and my wife 5'3" fine. Appearance is professional, like a much more higher priced stationary bike. Personally, I like the look of this as much as the $$$🙄 Pelotons. Little about me: 40 year distance racing and riding, road and mtb cyclist that; back in the day, rode out of Boulder with 7-11 squad for years as well as having done every distance mountain race and ride in the united states. Also, can do anything mechanical needed on a bike. I really thought I would find something wrong with it but since it was a prime purchase, I knew I could send it back....It is staying. 🚲

Es completamente silenciosa, se siente bien, no rechina ni hace ruidos raros (por ahora). Tiene buena resistencia, y buenos materiales. El asiento me parece cómodo, pero como en cualquier bicicleta, acostumbrarte va a requerir algunos días, y mucho uso. Cómo contra, puedo decir que si acelero se siente como se mueve el manubrio, nada grave. Y me hubiera gustado que la base para dispositivos se pueda acercar más, ya que estoy medio ciego, y no uso lentes para hacer ejercicio, así que la distancia para ver el dispositivo es un poco larga. Quizás les parezca un poco extraño, pero pensaba leer al mismo tiempo que me ejercitaba, aunque es un poco complicado alcanzar a ver bien El armado fue relativamente rápido, aproximadamente una hora, ya incluye todo lo que necesitas para armarla, así que no hay inconveniente. En resumen, me gustó mucho, apenas llevó un par de días de uso, y ha Sido una experiencia agradable.

Una excelente compra a un costo bajo. Por lo que he visto en cuanto a bicicletas indoor y su compatibilidad con apps, está parece ser una opción que pasa por encima de cualquier otra bicicleta indoor, la principal razón es la gran diferencia en costo con otras opciones con las mismas e incluso menos beneficios, hablando de conexión, datos que arroja y calidad del equipo. Una excelente compra, llevo.meses usándola y le he sacado mucho provecho, más de 2000 km en simulador y no le duele nada. La modifique un poco para uso de zapatillas con clip y un asiento de ciclismo de ruta, sin problemas. Pensando en comprar una segunda. La única limitante parece ser que para alguien de más de 180 de altura es poco funcional, pero a mí me ha quedado justo a la perfección, mido 180

Cero ruido al pedalear, te sientes en una bici de alta gama con un precio mucho mas accesible. Super fácil de ensamblar a pesar de que el manual viene solo en ingles. Mi esposo si pedalea en forma y yo soy principiante, pero para ambos es útil de acuerdo a nuestras necesidades. Te conectas a Zwift y otras aplicaciones sin problema. Cuenta con sensores de potencia, cadencia y vincula con tu medidor de frecuencia cardiaca. Excelente entrega, llego 2 días antes de lo estimado.

Es muy buen producto, hace CERO ruido y es bastante facil de ensamblar, un poco mal el detalle del manubrio que no queda al 100 pero es un detalle menor. La app es bastante simple, y seria bueno que te dijera que resistencia que vas ajustando en la app, la recomiendo mucho por precio y comodidad. Muy complicado moverlo de lugar a lugar con las llantas de tan mala calidad
