This bar is exactly what I needed and I had NO problems getting it mounted. PERFECT in every way.

Installed on my Browning BAR Night Stalker. Mounted an ATN thermal scope and a brass catcher for night hunting. Work out great.

Before you order, Browning made 2 versions of the BLR and drilled 2 hole patterns. Some of the BLR 81 Short actions scope holes were drilled for this (the long action) even though this is made to fit the long action it is appropriate for some short actions. Best bet ... go to the EGW website, find the product and somewhere on the web page they give you the hole spacing for each rail. Then check your Browning model and see if its correct. Unfortunatly, EGW did not tell you this in the product description.

Perfect fit for the browning bar safari but the screws are too long and need to be shortened. As long as you have access to a metal grinder not a big deal to remove approximately 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch so the screws don’t interfere with the bolt inside the receiver.

Fit my browning 308 BLR lever action perfect.

EGW make's great product ,this is the 2nd time buying this scope rail for a Browning BLR first one was a 2014 BLR and this one is a 1983 BLR ,come's with screws +one extra ,and screw driver Bit ,now that's what I call customer service,5 stars all the way ,thank you

Ad 2 pcs mount but not enough play. This mounting bar gave me all the required play I need for good eye relief.
