Fit and function are good. Requires a bit of pressure or suction to open.

The check valve seems to be well made and should hold up overtime. It's made of brass and has plastic valve parts. It fits nicely and I strongly recommend it. I recommend the seller as well.

My hot water in my rv was super low on pressure. I was starting to think the heater was cloged with sediment or something but turned out to be this check valve! They have a plunger and spring in one end to keep cold water from back flowing into hot water tank. What happens over time is the clip fails and the plunger gets stuck in the out going side of the tank restricting flow. I just switched my old one out with this quality part and hot water flows just like new. Would highly recommend this valve.

Was a direct fit for my water heater. Old valve was hard to get out but new one went in easy and works like a charm. No more squealing water tap and was able to winterize trailer without pouring antifreeze out through the water heater onto the ground.

The old check valve was not checking anymore, caused me a real headache when trying to winterize. This was a quick 10 min install and everything works perfect again.

Works great, but more pricey than at my local rv dealer which just goes to show that amazon does not always have the best prices...
