Can they be used for nighttime driving?

Hi there,

When it comes to our lens tints, they are specifically designed to combat blue light while viewing digital screens. While our lenses can be effective in reducing the harshness of lights you experience while driving and reducing the amount of glare, they are not designed for night driving. Most of our non-prescription glasses come with our GUNNAR Focus, which is a +0.2 diopter on the lens, designed for use viewing a monitor at close distance. While it's a small amount of magnification, it may affect your vision while driving.

For an option without the magnification, I would recommend looking into the following four frame styles that offer Natural lens: Vertex, Intercept, MOBA Razer, Cruz, and Rush.

Can these non prescription pair be changed to prescription lenses through a 3rd party like myyedr?

Thanks for your question. At this time, we aren't able to do lens purchases or updates. We're hoping to bring back this feature soon as it is highly requested. I don't have a timeline as of yet since we just replatformed our site, but we hope to bring this back. For now though, we aren't able to do so.

Our glasses are all made with polycarbonate lenses specially tinted with blue light protection technology, and includes dual-side anti-reflective coating and scratch resistance. That way, our glasses are always durable and never shatter if dropped! I own a pair of Gunnar Razers and their quite light as a feather. Will these put any weight or pressure on the ridge of your nose?

Not that I've noticed. they aren't much heavier then the normal Gunnar glasses. The frames are very thin to compensate for the larger lenses.
