Q: back padding - Does the back of the seat have any padding apart from the lumber cushion and neck cusion please?

I’m not sure exactly what you’re asking, but The back is padded similar to the seat padding. It’s not a hard plastic back if that’s what you mean. Hope this makes sense! It’s comfortable even without the lumber & neck support, my son doesn’t use either of these extra padding.

No, but it's very easy to assemble manually.

Q: How comfortable is this? How long can you sit in it before your bum starts hurting?

I sit in it for 7.5 hours a day 5 days a week working from home and it's perfectly comfortable and my bum does not hurt. I would recommend the chair.

Not padded I would say a firm foam or something similar they are shaped too
