So this is the first time using a shampoo bar and the amount of lather I get from using almost nothing was surprising. I normally wash and rinse my hair twice then use a conditioner, but weirdly my hair is softer (head and beard) with just washing once with this without using a conditioner after and I've only used it 3 times so far. I would have liked some different scents, but it is nice that this isn't strong at all once you rinse it out and barely smells like anything once it lathers. If you want a lasting scent you'd be better off putting something in after washing with this but I'm happy at the moment. It also seems to keep my hair from getting oily for longer, but that is likely because it removes so much of it in the first place without making my hair feel dry. I was switching just to reduce my plastic waste and picked the cheapest thing I could find to try, but I'd pick this again if I knew it was this good.

I’m on my third order. Largely because I keep sharing bars with friends. I can’t praise this stuff enough. First off, it smells amazing. Like fresh ginger and lemon. I love that it’s natural AND organic. It lathers better than all other shampoo bars I’ve tried. And it feels completely clean. I lather the bar in my hands and then per instructions, I work it into my hair and scalp and then leave it there for a couple of minutes. It has a delightful tingle. *Tip: Don’t leave it in your hair too long. Some people have said it strips their hair. But any soap will do that if you keep it on for a long time. I get the urge to do that; it feels great. But 2 minutes is plenty of time for it to work its magic. It rinses thoroughly and quickly, probably because it’s not full of chemicals. It leaves no residue. But it also does not strip my hair of oils and/or moisture. The scent doesn’t linger very long, but that just tells me it’s truly derived from real ingredients. I let my hair dry naturally and it’s full, has lots of body, feels and looks healthy and conditioned. An added bonus: The bar dries quickly! It comes in its own metal container with screw-on lid. I place it back in the can after use. In minutes, the top is dry. I turn it over to let the bottom dry. And then I just close the lid until next time, when it’s like a fresh, new bar. I wash my hair about once a week. I first purchased this product over 8 months ago and I’m still on my first bar, with plenty left to go. My husband, who uses his own bar daily, just started his third. So it lasts a long time. Finally, the price is fantastic! Especially for the outstanding quality. I get three bars for considerably less than one bar of what I consider to be far inferior products.

I took a chance and decided to try this ginger shampoo bar. I was pleasantly surprised how well it lathered and cleaned my hair. The bar itself has a light, clean scent but doesn’t leave a fragrance in your hair when it’s rinsed out. You get two round shampoo bars that are individually wrapped in plastic and packaged in metal tins. I’ve been using this for a few weeks now, my hair length is 3 1/2 inches past my shoulder and I think each bar should last for at least 3 to 4 months…so you are definitely getting your money’s worth. I also like that they are made from natural ingredients- olive and coconut oil, ginger extract, rosemary, essential oil, ginger powder, lemon essential oil, Jojoba and grapeseed oil. I’m glad I tried this product and look forward to purchasing other shampoo bars they make as well!!!

Pros: I love the smell Lather, lather, lather - wow, it only takes 5 swipes on my head and there's lather everywhere Oh, it makes my scalp feel awesome I can tell when I use it and don't by how much hair is in my brush or the drain (there's not any in the drain and hardly any in the brush) I had started to see a few strands of white hairs, they're gone now. I love only having to wash my hair every other day. Cons: Yes, the white hairs are gone, but all of my hair is darker, just a little bit, but I love being a light blonde instead of a dirty blonde. I know other reviews mentioned this, but I have long hair and it has made it really, really dry and flyaway! I only use it every other day, but when I do wash I pour on the conditioner trying to make it calm down and it's not really working. If I could eliminate those two cons I'd be 100% sold. I still like it and am not going to throw it out, but I'm not switching to it completely.

lathers really well and scent is strong at first but wanes and does not linger. have added to amazon subscription. good for travel as it comes in metal tin with screw on lid. if soap bar is stuck inside you can squeeze tin to get the bar out.

This shampoo works great. The smell is wonderful. My hair is so clean and it really does help with growth. The fact that I can get months worth of use also makes me very happy. That's excellent value for the money. I would pair it with the conditioner of your choice. The fact that the ingredients are natural makes me extra satisfied with the product. I will be ordering it again.

Sustainability is the #1 selling point of shampoo bars. I switched from bottle shampoo to bars as a way to reduce my personal waste. Every other bar I have received came in minimal packaging, usually just a cardboard box that fits snugly around the bar and can be easily recycled or composted. I actually purchased these bars specifically for the reusable metal tins, and was expecting that to be the only packaging. I'm not sure the reasoning, but each bar was wrapped in plastic and there was styrofoam padding inside the tins, which was disappointing since I'm specifically trying to reduce my plastic waste and these items cannot be recycled. The stickers on the tins are also plastic coated and extremely difficult to remove, and I've dented and scratched one of them significantly just trying to remove the sticker. Ultimately, while the shampoo smells lovely and works as expected, I will not be repurchasing.

I love these shampoo bars. First, the smell is wonderful, very clean and crisp. I have long hair, so I wasn't sure that a shampoo bar would be convenient, but they really couldn't be easier to use. They lather very well, but rinse completely. Because they don't leave any residue, my hair is very full and thick, and not weighed down at all. I will continue to use these bars. They leave my hair shiny and clean, and I love that.
