Joy to stitch
Love this design, having different weight yarns to add depth to the finished piece is great. However, I did run out of 2 colors and had to make some alterations to the flowers. Looks beautiful in the end.

Beware
My order was missing one shade of green. This was my first needlepoint and now after figuring this out I can’t finish it in time for a gift. The yarn thickness and quality is inconsistent between colors. Some are fuzzy and loosely wound and others are thin and tightly wound.

Refreshing my needlepoint skills
Have not needlepointed in 40 years and this is a colorful beginning project. Keeps my hands busy.

Not the quality I was hoping for.
I was excited to get this but wary because of other reviews being somewhat negative . I do like the design and the size and weight of the canvas. I don’t care for the yarn quality at all. It shreds and bunches very easily. There is also a lack of consistency in the yarn itself…meaning the light blue was so very thin, it was like embroidery thread while the light purple was so loose and thick it shredded during work. The end result will be an imbalanced piece. Disappointing after all of the hours spent but too far in to toss it now. The color chart printing on the canvas also was very difficult to read in many places. Could not differentiate between when med and dk purple began n ended so had to use the paper chart much more than I liked.

First time using this brand’s kit. Fair. Had to buy extra thread

This is *not* needlepoint!!! It's cross stitch!!
I did *not* receive a needlepoint kit. I received a cross stitch kit. There is a BIG difference between the two. Grrrr The description says "acrylic yarn” and the picture has a light blue background. The background thread I received is off-white. (And the fabric definitely is cross stitch fabric, not regular tapestry mesh).
