It does the job of sticking gunk from shoes when you walk on it but I purchased this as a solution for all that gunk that comes in when the front door is opened. It worked well but it did look all wrinkled and had an ugly yellowish color. I begrudgingly stuck it on our wood floor (not synthetic wood) for a week and when I tried to adjust the setting on the floor, it left a lot of the sticky stuff that took forever to remove. Googone did most of the job to remove it but there were some persistent spots that wouldn't budge. It's currently on top of my 5' round entry carpet because I can't figure out what to do with it yet. The ugly yellowish color is really an eyesore so I might just put it for the garage entry doors.

I know these are usually used in clean room and commercial applications around computer rooms, but they work great at the doors in the home too. Would be better with different color options, but overall they are not an eye sore and help reduce the amount of sweeping we have to do every day.

Work great for smooth hard surfaces but need a weighted base for carpet areas. Could cause a trip hazard since tack pad can stick to shoes and lift off of carpet since adhesive backing is not strong enough to hold on to carpet.

Witnessed these mats on job sites often and their effectiveness. My realization for home use took way too long!

These mats are used in our cleanroom to keep contaminants out of the cleanroom. These mats worked much better than other brands we have purchased in the past. The mats secured nicely to the floor and the tops had plenty of tackiness to grab particulates.
