Q: Is this chair good for short people? Im 5 ft

The wheels that this chair comes with are too high which makes the chair stand about 2 inches higher than it should at the lowest position. You would need to change out the caster wheels which is very easy to do that way the chair will lower 2 inches in the lowest position. This is what I had to do because I’m 5’ 3”!. You can buy the same roller blade type wheels but the double ones that are smaller or just go for cheap regular plastic ones. I think I spent like $25 for shorter double roller blade type wheels and they fit right in easily and will install in like 3 minutes without tools. I don’t know why the manufacturer of this chair put in such high wheels. Most likely that’s all they could get at a cheap price for the quantities they needed or maybe they thought most people in america are giants. Good luck.

Q: what is the seat hight - max and min?

When the seat is lowered all the way down, the top of the seat is 20 inches from the ground. When raised all the way up the top of the seat is 23.5 inches from the ground. if the arms are too high to fit under a desk they can be raise up out of the way.

Q: Can this chair be used without installing the arm rests?

I am not sure but the arm rests flip up and blend into the back of the chair. Hope this helps
