What are the output levels on the solar panel? I'd like something that's educational as well as functional, and I wonder how effective this is.

It takes about 14 hours to completely charge the Lipo battery from 0 Charge to full using the solar panel only. You can also plug the micro USB port into a standard wall outlet to quickly charge your battery. This will take approximately 2 hours. Charging time for your devices depends largely on what the device is anywhere from 15 min to hours. The battery in it is a Lipo battery at 3.7v 2000mah

Great product with room for improvement

Great product to teach my daughter about circuits and how things work. However, the wooden box obviously hides all the awesome work that you have done, which meant we had to keep opening the box to show the wiring and be really careful while opening it..

Do NOT waste your money

I purchased this product for my daughter to use with her school STEM project and two of her partners also purchased kits. The blue charging module appears to be faulty with all three kits and after working for only 1 hour each of the three units failed. We emailed the provider and attempted to call them 3 times with no response. Do NOT waste your money. This kit is garbage. Mad mom!!!!

It stops working after a 2 days

It works but only for a couple days. By the time it was time to present my daughter science project it’s stopped working the night before.. Be prepared to not be able to present it after it’s built. Also you need a soldering gun and it’s a little complicated setting up if you’ve never used a soldering gun.
