Excellent bit

Great bit - razor sharp cut lines even at faster speeds

I've tried all kinds of router bit brands and Amana has always been a good brand, and this one is no exception. IT is a good looking bit, well made and is quite sharp. So far it works very well, cuts very nicely and holding up well thus far. Only time and use will tell how long it will last. Will update this if anything changes. Only slight criticism, seems a tad pricey for what it is, but that is just my opinion. If you are okay with the price, would recommend, because it is a good bit.

Great machining on this. Smooth as you can get on the shank and the upper portion with the cutting edges. Very sharp, precise edges tapering to a nice point. The blue coating is intended to reduce heat buildup and thereby retain the edge sharpness. Amana's coatings have worked well on the other bits that I have and this is undoubtedly no exception. Not a cheap bit, but Amana is basically industry standard quality.

So Amana is supposed to be the best CNC bits you can get on Amazon. I got this bit for some fine detail work in poplar. The first run was fantastic, awesome clean lines. Halfway through the second run, the tip broke off.

I ordered 6 total and received only one of the correct bits out of 6! All labeled correctly but random bits inside
