They may not be name brand for Americans, but they are solid, well-made enough, and perfect for the baseball player in your world, especially those who are just starting the sport. Older folks with a more distinctive taste may balk at them, but for the rest of us, having a catch or teaching some fundamentals, these work just fine. Individually wrapped in plastic seems a bit much for us, but other than that, they are a good buy.
