The spring in our couch broke, and this was the perfect fix. Easy to install and it worked like new once installed. Haven't had to replace it yet, so I would say it was worth the small cost.

Received it quick. Spring was slightly thicker than original so it ought to last longer.

Got this to replace the spring that failed on my lazy-boy recliner. Spring does not have a foam insert like the spring it replaced so you will get a bit more spring noise when you recline, but it did cost $2 less.

We had a spring break in our sofa recliner such that the foot rest would not stay up. I tried the local hardware store and came up empty. So, I went to the manufactures website that then referred me to Amazon for the needed spring. Once installed, it worked like a charm, and is still going strong. It was quite the trick to install due to the cramped quarters to work in and then having to pull the spring out somewhat to install. I think it took me 15-20 minutes to get in, and most of that was figuring out how to do it.
