I believe some and most were real and there were a few fakes. There is a 50/50 chance they could be or were fake. Although Amazon has a great return and refund program. I returned them mainly because they were not what I expected. Only getting the most commonly plain ones that are Readily available anywhere instead of what you see in promo boxes.
