The bright colored foam balls are great for hitting practice with our 6 year old. They are safe, being foam, and the hi-vis color helps us quickly locate the balls in our grass yard! Good buy.

These are very good foam baseballs; they err on the side of soft and harmless versus a hard rubbery practice ball. You could hit these with a standard bat, or even a heartier wiffle style bat. They seem ever so slightly smaller than a standard baseball as well. My only complaint, and it's a nagging thing rather than a true functional problem, is the hearty seam that runs the circumference of the ball, a byproduct of the manufacturing process no doubt. It really isn't a problem in day-to-day use, but I mention it here (and include an image) so you can make an informed purchase. Overall, I'm very pleased with these and look forward to many more park days before the weather gets cooler (though we have thrown these back and forth inside the house without fear).

Great safe practice balls for my 5 year old granddaughter who played teeball this year.

My biggest problem is when my kids don’t clean up after practice, the dog will easily tear them up before I have a chance to stop them. If you have dogs, make sure they don’t go near these. We have a four-year-old and these were perfect for his introduction to baseball. We’ve been using them for practicing at home, and they have served us well. Love the fact that there’s no risk of hurting him when we hit him in the face. My husband was pleased with the quality, our son is getting more comfortable, and is ready to start baseball next month.

If you are sensitive to chemical smells do not buy this. My face felt so itchy after opening the box and getting blasted by the smell from this product. I am hoping that if I air them outside for a while it won't be so noxious.

I have a small back yard and a little leaguer learning the game. Been hard to do batting in our small yard with all the breakable things around and next door. These have solved that issue.They are soft foam balls, but the correct size to put on a tee and hit as hard as you want. Great for catching as well. My little guy is afraid of being hurt my the real balls, these are great as he can get right in front of them and under them, without fear. They have already improved my little ones game as he has spent hours out in the yard hitting balls and tossing them in the air to catch them.Great training balls for all ages for hitting. and catching.

I got these to practice catching and hitting with my daughter. They are foam but not a squishy foam which allows you to use them for hitting. They are great to teach how to catch and position the glove but unfortunately are not great to stay inside the glove, because of their weight and material they jump out right away from the glove. This is no big deal since we are just working of positioning of the glove but I don't think these would be great for later stages other than hitting. We hit these off a T and they are just fine for that. Overall we are very happy with them since we can use them indoors with no fear of breaking anything.
