Better than the Original Part !
I have had to replace all 3 of the mechanisms in my toilets with different bits over the years, and these have solved the issues right out of the box. From replacing the diaphragm for the buttons to the main outlet sealing rings as they all leak and fail over time. The problem with the original part, original replacement parts and other white plastic copy replacements with black sealing rings is the rubber is hard and after about 6 months they begin to leak again. slowly passing and constantly draining the cistern. This Black plastic one has a soft white silicon sealing ring and sealed immediately. took a few attempts at pumping the the buttons to get it to plush on one press. Between the Original and other parts and copies, this is by far the best and most straight forward direct replacement that hasn't been over priced junk

Good enough
This is now the third after 11 years. I've learnt how to fit the darn thing by now and it works perfectly. The old one needed repeated pushes to get it flushing. Handy hints . . . 1. The flushplate comes off by pushing one of the short edges and prising away. Remove the cistern cover. 2. Disconnect the air tubes from the top of the flush valve. Twist the assembly anti-clockwise a small amount and it will come loose. You may then have to fiddle with the position to extricate it through the flush plate opening. Discard. 3. I then snip the free (flush valve) ends of the air tubes a little way. Ensures a new snug fit back onto the top of the valve. Fit the ends onto the valve (i.e before re-inserting - it's easier and surer). 4. Fiddle the valve through the opening and down into the correct position in the cistern and seat it onto the bottom. Watch for those air tubes getting in the way and stopping a good seating. Push down gently and twist clockwise. Should only need a small turn and then it clicks into place. 5. I then removed the air tubes from the flush plate and again snipped the ends and re-fitted. Check that the correct tube goes to the correct side of the valve and that the tubes aren't kinked. Tuck everything neatly away. Replace the cistern cover. 6. Re-fit the plate, spring side in first, press sideways and push to fit.

It just works - 2 minute change out
2 minute fitting. Old flush unit diaphragms were worn so not getting full flush with air leaks. This fixed it. Don't repair old unit, at this price just change it
