Broken
Only a few of the outlets worked when I plugged things into it. I'm glad I tested it before I moved all my furniture around and then found out it didn't work. I gave it 2 stars because the return process was easy and quick.

Durable well made and has many options for use
I bought this because I was constantly unplugging one item to replace it with another. I honestly didn't know the difference between a surge protector and a power strip. My husband is an electrician and he is very impressed with the quality of this item. I love that the cord is heavy duty and has enough length that I can plug it most anywhere. With the two USB ports I don't have to use that block like adapter that takes up so much space on the power strip, this allows me to have much more use because I have more space to plug in things. My husband is impressed because this surge protector has ports to plug in other types of cables like for the TV and some port that looks like you could plug in something that looks like where that hard plastic connector on a phone would go. I had no idea I was buying such a quality product but I really feel I made a good purchase.Susan

Great Product!
This product fulfilled our needs completely. We had multiple extension cords running under furniture to supply our sitting area with power for lamps, phone, device chargers, etc that we needed at our primary sitting and work station. I felt it was a fire/shock hazard. I found exactly what I needed in this product. It has 2 USB ports,10 outlets, and is a surge protecter. It also has coaxal cable outlets and phone jacks that we don't use. A suggestion for improvement is to include pet and child protection by providing caps for outlets not used. I put tape over them for protection.

I needed a long cord! PS with all the bells and whistles
Normally I do pretty in-depth revies of items, however, my time is short today. I needed to get my power to the middle of my office desk for my computer. I needed about 12-15 ft cord and I also needed lots of plugs for all my peripherals. The long cord is heavy duty and the unit does meet UL standards so I am sure that it should last just fine. The only thing that could be improved is to label what the lights are for.

Good bang for the buck
Really helped with freeing up some wire clutter & enabled me to eliminate one of my other surge protectors. Since it has 10 outlets I no longer need 2 of the 6 outlet units. I even was able to use one of the USB ports to power a Roku Express with no issues so far & its nice to have an extra charger port for game controllers, phones, tablets etc. The phone line, cable & ethernet connectors are a nice touch even though I probably won't ever need the phone & cable connectors.Kinda wish it had two or three more ethernet ports so I can use it as an ethernet switch for when the WiFi goes out. Outlet springs inside were a little tight so I kinda had to force a few plugs in. Only complaint so far. Over all, a good buy & surge protection will come in handy in the event of an outage or electrical storm.

Degrades signal, slows down internet...
Comcast tech just left... I"ll spare the details and cut to the chase. With the coax running through this before going to the modem my dl'd speed was varying between 33-93Mb/sec, far below what we're paying for. Connecting the coax directly to the modem the dl'd speed was/is ~430Mb/sec. Tech said (referring to all surge protectors like this, not this specific model) that they -always- degrade the signal, and that when he sees one on a service call he's happy because he knows he can fix the customers problem quickly. Disappointing because we had 2 lightning strikes within 5 years that fried previous modems and both computer and TV ethernet jacks, but as I routinely deal with files over 40GB I need the full speed I'm paying for.I have a couple other brands version of this type of protector that I"ll test at some point, but for this specific model I can report that it consistently, repeatably slows things down by a significant amount. Actually, let me add one bit of tech info: I'd gone through Motorola's tech support and the readings we got from the modem showed a poor signal getting to it, S/N ratio between -26 to -37dB with very high error rates on some channels. Without the signal going through this protector the Comcast tech measured -45dB, which is within the suggested spec of this modem (they recommend a minimum of -40).

This product is great. The 15 foot cord enables me to manipulate areas that have few wall outlets. Also, there is very good spacing between outlets so there's no problem fitting cords into the surge protector.

Does exactly what it advertises!
I'm very happy with my choice. It has really protected my devices that I plug into it. I use a lot of plugs and it handles them just fine.Pro: Works just like a charm! Everything it promises, it does correctly.Con: I wish the light wasn't so bright. I can't sleep with it on so I have to turn it off every night because it lights up my room.
