HexClad Wok - The Wok thta rocks!
I've always enjoyed cooking, but the HexClad 10-Inch Nonstick Wok has made it even more fun. It's the perfect size for quick weeknight stir-fries, fried rice, vegetables, noodles, and even searing proteins. What impressed me most is how well the hybrid surface performs. I get the browning and caramelization I'd expect from stainless steel, while food releases with the ease of a quality nonstick pan. It heats quickly and evenly, so I spend less time waiting and more time cooking. The stay-cool handle is genuinely comfortable, even during longer cooking sessions, and the wok feels solid without being overly heavy. Cleanup is incredibly easy. Most meals wipe right out, and knowing it's dishwasher safe is a nice bonus, even though I rarely need it. I also appreciate that it's oven safe and works on every cooktop, including induction. It's one of those pieces of cookware that's thoughtfully designed and built to last. If you're looking for a versatile wok that combines professional cooking performance with everyday convenience, I can't recommend this one highly enough. It's become one of my favorite pans in the kitchen and has exceeded my expectations in every way.

Wok ๐ฏ
HexClad so far is the best. We are very happy with the wok! Today I used it for the first time, I made an Asian dish, and an Asian seafood dish, it sears perfectly and sautรฉed even better. Plus you really do not need it on high heat. I am sold on HexClad 100% so much more I want to purchase. Product is expensive but well worth it, I am purchasing one item at a time!?

Choosing the 12" over the 10"
I chose the 12" wok with trepidation, given the comments about its weight. I made the right choice. The wok is deep and sufficiently large that I can cook one pot meals in quantity with plenty of room for leafy greens and a volume of food to last 2-3 days. Compared to the 10" cast iron skillet that I was using, this is lightweight! The extra handle is quite helpful and the wok design is very efficient. It has been perfectly non-stick so far. Overall, it was a very good investment. I can now retire 2, flaking old skillets.

Best decision youโll ever make
I deliberately waited before writing this review. I wanted to be certain I wasnโt simply being a fanboy because Gordon Ramsay endorses the brand. I needed my own, honest opinionโand here it is. I have a background in culinary arts and have lived a hard life in professional kitchens. For years, my wife selected our cookware, then understandably complained that I was destroying it. She wasnโt wrong. For over two decades, I cooked on Pampered Chef Pro cookware and hated every minute of it. I even had an entire set replaced under warrantyโonly to destroy the replacement as well. We were trapped, having spent thousands of dollars on cookware that simply couldnโt handle real cooking. When I first read reviews of the original generation of HexClad, I hesitated. I had no interest in being burned againโespecially by cookware potentially made with questionable chemicals. So I paused. When I learned HexClad had redesigned and improved their products, I decided to give them a serious look. Cooking with these pans instantly transported me back to my line cook daysโwhen you know, without question, that youโre holding true professional-grade equipment. Using them honestly feels like a Jedi wielding a lightsaber. The pans have a solid, medium-heavy weight that inspires confidence, comparable to cast iron in strength, yet without the downsides. They deliver a flawless sear without devouring your food. Heat control is exceptionalโsteady at high temperatures and responsive at low. Most importantly, they cook evenly, which is a complete game changer when your family is accustomed to fine-dining quality meals at home. There are no more excuses about inferior cookware in this kitchen. Bottom line: these pans are not cheapโbut they are absolutely worth the money. The quality lives up to the hype. If youโre on the fence, stop shopping. Donโt buy anything else. This is it.

Bought in January for $180US about ready for garbage in August.
The seller of this product put a video out on youtube to show you how to make sure it doesn't stick. It was an absurd amount of extra work to get what they believe it the perfect sear with no-stick. It was more work than if I just used a stainless steel pad or wok from start to clean. I suppose if you've cooked as much as Gordon Ramsay has, there is no problem? If you cannot find this video of him "seasoning" (not like carbon steel one-and-done seasoning) by pre-oiling it, heating the oil, discarding the oil, lower the heat and adding new oil, it was probably taken down because it's an absurd process and more work compared to other surfaces even stainless steel. Stuff doesn't only stick but it gets jammed on the side of the raised steel hex. Harder to clean than any pan because you have to clean it very carefully to avoid wearing out the non-stick part. Or fit it in the dishwasher. I've owned it since January and right away I realized it just wasn't good for certain types of food. It is now August and I think it is almost ready to throw into the garbage. Now I see on reviews here that HexClad was sued and settled or lost. I paid $180 back in January and it is the worst value pan I've ever purchased. Get a carbon steel wok that has been pre-seasoned.

Worth every penny.
So far we love these!! My husband bought me the 3 skillets and I loved them so much I bought this. We do not put these in the dishwasher, and Iโve never used them on anything higher than medium high heat. They donโt need it! I seared a steak and was impressed. I normally use cast iron and this did well. Iโve not had a single issue with anything sticking to them. They conduct heat very well so cook time is on point. Theyโre super easy to clean by hand and worth every penny. Definitely a great value. Yes, theyโre expensive. So were my All Clads! You get what you pay for. They work amazingly well and I LOVE the design. I have a full set of All Clads stainless steel, and my cast iron Griswold that is over a 100 years old. My mother gave me her full set of very expensive copper (from France) cookware and I have Le Crueset Dutch ovens of a few sizes. Since I got these, theyโve become my go to. Theyโre sturdy but light and easy to clean so why wouldnโt I?!!

Cooks like it is advertised
This pan is brand new and I have only used it once but I followed the instructions on how to use it and cook on low to medium heat and it worked as advertised and clean up was great so far I love this product.

Very good pan.
So far this pan lives up to the hype. Very sturdy with even heating. I have a husband and son who are not great about using the right utensils and the proper care for my cook ware. This pan can take it. The non stick feature has not been so great yet, even after I have followed all the instructions.

Absolutely the best non-stick wok. Good looking, easy to clean, sturdy, well made. Although expensive, good value for money

Long lasting and works well
Itโs amazing, I use it to fry almost anything (eggs, curries, fries, tofu, plantain). Itโs easy to clean. Expensive but worth the price, Iโve used it for a year and it still looks like new
