Best upgrade to your existing home network.
The media could not be loaded. Â Bought this for the purpose of extending the range in my apartment. Was previously using a 2 year old TP-Link 5g dual band 1200MBPS Router. So, thought that there won't be much speed difference when upgrading to this. I have a 150 Mbps Optic-fiber connection and got around 85-90 mbps in speed tests. Download speed was around 7 Mb/s.Then I upgraded to this beast. The installation process and setup is a breeze. I took my phone out and ran a speed test and my eyes popped out of my eye socket. 150 Mbps stable. And the download speed now is between 16-25 Mb/s. No issues with range. Same speed throughout my apartment.Best upgrade I've made this year.

Blessing for 2+ floors
3 floors. 4 people (used to be a lot more). We live in a old house and had 2 routers and lots of wires to connect most machines. This machine changed the way we live. It is so easy and covers almost every corner of every floor of our house.Great product.Details: 1400sqft*4floors including terrace

Excellent!!
Ok, it took about 3-4 months discovering mesh wifi, wifi 5 vs 6, different brands/models, their pricing, config, set-ups, home layouts, YT videos/reviews etc and then finally decided to go with Deco X55.What a upgrade this has been - just mind blowing and very happy!!Background:1. ISP Speed 300 Mbps, 2000 sqft single storey home. Home layout probably square and modem is at one end of the house. The other diagonal end doesn't receive any signal and have to use Wifi extender. Significant brick walls and wooden furniture that blocks wifi signals.2. ISP delivered modem (1200 Mbps Dual Band Wifi 5).3. Deco set-up: Access point mode. Main deco connected to ISP Modem via LAN cable and wifi extender replaced with 1 deco node. Connection between decos is using wifi i.e. wireless backhaul. (Didn't have to use the 3rd unit at all!!)4. Speed Tests (Wifi, all on 5ghz only):ISP Modem - 190 Mbps (near to it), 60 Mbps (far diagonal end using wifi extender).Deco X55 - Always 300+ Mbps (same spot and device where it was 190 earlier) and 160 Mbps (diagonal end where it was 60 before, connected to the extended deco node)!!(The 1 extended deco unit is placed at location where 180 Mbps speed is delivered from the Main deco. Choose your location-speed combination appropriately to decide if you want more speed or large coverage area.)The decos are not in linear line of sight, however they are separated by a wall and wooden doors/frames. Wifi signals perform better in beamforming technique and leverage this when placing your Deco's.About the product itself - plenty of manuals, tutorials, the pros and cons are there on the internet to look for.For me - the speed was important and wanted atleast 100 Mbps all over the house even with doors closed, walls, wooden interiors etc and this has served very well. No more HD calls / video call blur or drop outs - all perfect.Preferred to go with Wifi 6 (instead of Wifi 5) - for better connection stability and future-proof for few years.Been about a week now, hope the unit lasts good for a long time.Cons - The only regret is why did I wait so long to buy this! If your primary work is heavily dependent on internet speed and stability and have the pricing budget, then you'll be amazed at how wonderful mesh wifi and this tiny box is!

Good coverage
Quite happy with deco x55 where the previous single router was not able to cover an area of 2500sqft.Even with wireless backhaul, the speed is like 30% less on the 2nd unit.Older devices can have a hard time moving between the units.

Super seamless installation
I have used Netgear wifi mesh earlier (machine had conked off so purchased new one). This was for under 15k (as opposed to 25k+ for Netgear). The connectivity for this two box unit was cakewalk with the app. Also a very important thing ..When I was using Netgear with Airtel broadband it was all fine .. and some point the ISP provider changed the modem (when installing fiber) and I used to have frequent disconnects. On detail investigation, I was told I need to ask my ISP (Airtel) to provide a static IP and then it will work. The static IP requires an additional cost of 200 pm! After converting to static IP it was working fine. At some point Netgear had conked off and I switched to Deco X55 . .used it wth the same static IP. Later thought of disabling the static IP and see if it works. Luckily is it working and so am saving the extra 200pm I was paying for the static IP!!

Average Wifi Strength - many Drops
Purchased for 1400 sfqt home. Unfortunately past 2 walls signal drops pathetically. Not very happy considering the cost is too high .Average product and remember if 2 walls are there , range drops 50-60% and not even 2 meters are covered. Only useful if you can connect both deco via Wired lan

Solved all my Wi-Fi problems
I had no idea what a quality Wi-Fi router does . I bought this only to avoid dead zone issues but surprisingly the bandwidth offered by my ISP was much more which I was able to fully utilize. This router is very powerful and single unit can cover over 1500 sqft easily . I’m very happy with the performance.

Easiest thing to install - plug and play
This is amazing. I upgraded from Google Nest Wifi Mesh to this. The speeds are amazing with Wifi 6 and the Deco App is much easier to configure than the Google Home app.Its all automatic, so you configure it on ethernet, but afterwards, it can be configured anywhere, its smart enough to re-adjust. Takes a little waiting, but its fine. Now the mesh coverage is high speed and wide coverage.TP Link have combined the 2.6ghtz and 5ghtz signal into one, so its a stronger and faster latency beam for those recievers that are compatible. And truth be told this is good value for month. There's others selling for $100 more than this set of 3 units.

easy to setup, very fast internet throughout the house
easy setup and the app is built nicely. free parental control is very limited, and there is a monthly cost on top of what you buy for the improvement on parental controls which come for free on different brands

Excellent wifi mesh system
I can setup both daisy chain and star topology based on my need. I had to return couple of products before ordering this Deco X55. This has everything I needed. No internet drop or slow speed anymore.

EFFING AMAZING!
Do you pay attention to any negative comments as BS. Here is my journey........When I built this house, I foolishly did not have an ethernet point installed in the room I now used for an office as I thought I would be using another opposite. So I used to run Cat6 wires from the other room to this room. My ethernet speed is 100Mbps from the provider.I then came across TP-Link AV600 (Mpbs) Nano Powerline Adapter (passthrough electrical wires) and it works best if on the same circuit... luckily the two rooms are. So after plugging that in, I used to get anywhere between 75-87Mbs speeds.... but my WIFI in this room was crap.. like 0-3Mpbs at times. My modem/router is located 21m away from this room. The TV which is also on WIFI but about 15m away almost always used to lag with some streaming sites,Then I came across this unit, I bought a 3 pack although I could get away with 1 but now I think 3 was fine as I can put one in my shed and another closer to the outdoor area. The best result (and for some reason I worked this out in my head prior to getting this delivered) is to NOT let it sit next to the modem and then connect another unit elsewhere to piggyback off the signal.... the BEST result is to connect it directly into the ethernet point (if you have one installed as I did and don't forget, this is directly plugged into the modem 25m away). Once I connected it, I thought it did not work as I was getting the same speeds... BUT .. what I did not realise is that you created a NEW network and so once I joined that network... I was getting 102-108Mpbs of WIFI speeds in the same room I was barely getting 0-3/4Mps!!So I disconnected the TP-Link AV600 and the TV that was lagging.. no longer lags!I have run 3 NBN internet cables into my shed so I will be doing the same thing to create a WIFI bubble inside but for my outdoor (even though on same network, getting around 35Mbps) I may plug the 3rd unit into the wall. The beautify of this is that you only need to connect ONE until with ethernet cable whilst the rest can act as slaved to bounced off the signals, unless you have ethernet points at those locations, then you will get max speeds you paid for with your provider.I bought this on sale as the normal price tag was a bit too much.
