Does the size of the room matter?

I had no problems with a large or small rooms. I just kept Johnny located near center of room.

Can I order a blaster only

It usually comes in a kit with everything you need included in the box that said you might find just the blaster listed on here or ebay

No scary noises coming from it what am I doing wrong

Turn on Johnny (no innuendo). Select level on feet. Eye will light up. Fire gun into illuminated eye to synch. Shoot ghosts to the music of eerie wails. If all else fails, check batteries.
