Wow! Can’t begin to say how thrilled I am with this product! After my internet provider switched us over to digital, the quality of Wi-Fi became very poor. Whereas I could watch tv on my iPad just outside the back door just about, this disappeared overnight. After buying this fantastic beauty of a device, not only does it extend the internet just outside the back door but 25 metres to the bottom of the garden which has never been known. I can now watch TV out in the garden right where the sun ends and with still a strong signal. Easy to set up and is the best bit of money I’ve spent in a while! 😊

Fantastic little unit from TP_LINK, an absolute steal at sub £50.I have mine toggled into its Access Point Mode and paired with a Powerline Adapter in my garden room. This facilitates a 200mbs+ wifi network as a branch of Virgin Media household broadband. More than enough for work, games and 4K streaming.Setup, firmware upgrades and tuning are all available using either the TP-LINK tether app or web interface served by the unit itself. You do have to first configure it as a WiFi extender first, then toggle into AP Mode once the Setup Wizard has completed, but that's a minor gripe.The unit runs cool and is indescreet. Highly recommended.

This is fantastic as my ring door was at-77 running off wifi - now with this TP link its now -39 , also battery on Ring door bell running out faster due to trying to get a better signal - so easy to set upSo worth the money

BT came to fit full fibre and moved my router assuring me that putting it back in its original position wouldn’t cause any issues. Of course they didn’t listen to my protestations and of course they were wrong‼️ Again found my at home work space was a ‘dead’ zone which is why the router was moved in the first place. 😤. My office space is in an extension where a previously external wall is now an internal wall and the position of the router is diagonally opposite and couldn’t be further away from my desk. This WiFi extender works perfectly giving the whole house and most of the garden (front, back & side) great connectivity. Took a few hours after linking to the router for the signal to finally ‘settle’ but now it’s just great. Super easy to set up and the style looks good too. So pleased I waited and didn’t give up on the extender after 20 mins.

I bought this extender to improve the Wi-Fi signal in my small flat, but unfortunately it hasn’t worked as expected. The connection is very unstable and keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, even when the extender is placed close to the main router. The TP-Link app also reported “Lost Connection” several times. Although all the indicator lights eventually showed a good connection, the internet still kept dropping and webpages often needed to be refreshed before they would load. This made it unreliable for Zoom meetings and online exams, which was my main reason for buying it. Overall, I’m very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend it based on my experience.

I'm blown away by how well this has connected and killed my dead zone in my extension and kitchen. Easy to connect. It's grabbed my existing WiFi 15m from the router and putting out about 120mbs of my 500mbs package speed. Strong signal throughout the dead zone and into my garden as well.

I have 5 of these over two homes. These are not perfect but compared to other extenders I've used, less problematic. The good points, pretty simple to set using the 'Tether' app (more on that later). Separating the 2.4 & 5 bands was also no issue as was allocating the SSID to be extended. The app is better than the utterly awful Netgear/Nighthawk one. Tether does not see Xband for 5ghz networks above channel 140 so if using higher channels you will need to change the 5Ghz channel to Vband 1,2 or 3 ranges. This means these can't extend the 5GHz on Xband - very frustrating and a bit old school tech. The next issue is the random drop outs of the signal. No rhyme or reason, it just drops out, sometimes momentarily, but less often for a minute or so. It seems to just lose its handshake with the router. Transmit speeds are decent enough - 5GHz average 300 - 400 Mbps & 2.4GHz up to 100 -150Mbps. Both measured about 10ft away from the extender, in another room. I initially set these up as mesh but found it easier to manage/monitor as separate extenders with their own IDs. With the app, these can be managed remotely via the cloud which is really great. I have a few wireless cameras that use the extenders so if there is a connectivity issue I can sort via my phone.

Suite à la panne du dernier répétiteur et après beaucoup de recherches, j'ai finalement opté pour ce produit qui doit améliorer la réception, la communication.Les achats précédents, d'autres marques et moins chers amplifiaient le signal sans donner entière satisfaction.Le dernier achat m'a surpris par ses performances et sa facilité de mise en service, un signal puissant et de qualité dans toute la maison, même dans des zones où les autres modèles ne permettaient pas d'utiliser le wifi.Plus de baisse de signal, plus de coupure rien que du plaisir ☺️.Un investissement qui se justifie.

This extender is amazing! My outdoor floodlight camera above the garage had a very weak Wi-Fi signal. Configuring this TP-Link AC1900 was incredibly simple and took less than 5 minutes from start to finish. Now, my floodlight camera has a full signal with absolutely no drops.The price was amazingly low, making it an incredible value. The unit itself feels beefy and solid, and it has plenty of status lights to indicate signal quality so you always know exactly what is going on. I am very happy with this purchase!
