Its helpful because it does try to explain the labs it wants you to do and why. The only problem is that some labs are not to clear on what the exercise is at a certain time or what pace.

Recently ordered the text "Laboratory Manual for Exercise Physiology (with accompanying web resource access)", excellent lab manual for basic exercise physiology assessments. Was ordered from Australia and arrived before its expected date, and great savings.I also highly recommend "Exercise Physiology Laboratory Manual 6 (by Beam & Adams). Great manual that includes worksheets for students.

Great details on the procedures for every test.

I would have loved to have actually used the manual but almost all of the activities for the labs were missing from the book.
