Round Metal Plate (Non-Adhesive) for iMagnet Mount. x2 Pack

iMagnet is a good solution for a phone holder. Initially I used the iMagnet with iPhone 5S, and later upgraded to iPhone 6Plus. Well it just works. I like the idea, it becomes a universal mount for any type of phone. The first iteration of iMagnet Round Metal Plate came with adhesive... When I returned my iPhone 5S to Apple store, I couldn't take it off. The only way doing it would be to use some tools that may leave a scratch on the case. The second iteration comes without the adhesive. You have to spend a bit more time to find that perfect location, but at the end it works great. Also if initially you though that you found a good position for the disk, no worries, you can adjust it later. That is why I like it w/o adhesive part. This is important aspect when using with bigger phones, because the experience is new, and you will need some adjustment. Would recommend it to friends.

I have a different magnetic mount (not the iMagnet) which came with a rather large square-ish metal plate that was supposed to stick with adhesive to the back of your phone. Since I always use a case, I stuck it to the case (which wasn't smooth), so the adhesive quickly wore out. I started searching for a metal plate that I could put inside my phone case and came across these. They are perfect! Very thin. I now have a Moto X with a clear case (slightly curved back) and this plate fits perfectly inside the case. Magnetic mounts are so much better and easier to use than clamp mounts. BTW, these plates are just plain metal, they are not magnetic, which is exactly what I needed. And I have a spare one, just in case!

nice, but expensive

i lost my original piece so I had to find replacements. these are perfect for my thinner cases. it feels a bit rougher and not as smooth as the original piece but it works! wished the price wasn't so steep for these thin pieces of magnets.

I purchased the imagnet holder and quickly lost my magnets. Well needless to say when I got these at the steep price of $8 I made sure to keep track of them! Same build quality but these have no adhesive! I use multiple cases on my phone so I dont need the adhesive but for those who do,you will need to purchase a 3H adhesive strip from your hardware store or somewhere else. These don't interfere with any call reception, music playing, or bluetooth signals in my use.

These are thicker than the originals that came with the mount. They will interfere with many thin/minimal cases. They also came with adhesive backing with adds even more thickness, even though the description says they are the non-adhesive plates. Very disappointing.

Buy the rectangular ones instead!!! Seriously. do't make the same mistake I did. I used to have the rectangular ones so I know. Reason being: While I'm driving, because its round, the little bumps and micro-vibrations of drivings will sometimes cause the phone to slip sideways from being up-and-down (vertical to horizontal). not the end of the world but sometimes it even falls off the mount after this, jeopardizing my phone and causing me to have to bend down and find it in that evil crevice between your gear shift and your seat while driving - not fun. Never had this problem with the rectangular ones even once. The iMagnet product itself is great, but if you are getting a new case and need new magnets, get the rectangular ones!! BUY THE RECTANGULAR ONES! You have ben warned!

Great for holding our iPhones 6 and 6+. Good strong magnet. Only drawback is the metal you have to stick inside your case to grab the magnet...they are ugly in the middle of my gold iPhone. However, necessity wins and I use it to keep the phone from falling down. My husband thought it was ridiculous, but now fights me to use in when we are both in the car!
