Love this phone holder! It looks like a robot hugging your phone which makes everyone who gets into my car smile. It works very well, my phone hasn’t fallen out at all including speed bumps and road construction. Was super easy to install, like a 30 second job. Definitely recommend!

So I got this and didn't tell my wife. When she wasn't around, I installed it in the car and waited to see what happened. Installation was a breeze and it has a hook attachment, which is great as it stays in place wonderfully. I have had some in the past with a squeeze-on attachment, and this is by far the superior method. Connecting the cord to the charger was simple and I needed zero instructions to figure out how to install the thing. Just twist the piece that attaches to the car to extend and pull-in the hook.Please keep in mind that this CANNOT charge your phone via the car USB. You will need a different attachment for that, and it's the only reason I'm docking my review a star. If you NEED an item to make one of the main functions of your product work, it should be in the box. Just my opinion. But they tell you in the description that you'll need that, so at least they aren't being untruthful or secretive about it.However, I just wanted this for holding onto a phone (and not particularly to charge my phone), so it meets MY needs! It does TRY to charge my phone from time to time, but that's actually annoying as my phone bluetooth music keeps stopping while it tries to charge here and there. I wish they had this holder with a manual attach/detach option... but I assume I'm the minority in this desire. So I apologize that I can't rate the charging capability as I don't want to buy another attachment for it. Considering this is a review of just this product though, I feel this is still a fair assessment.My wife went to the store and took one kid. She got back and the kid came running in to talk to the other kid. The other kid ran out to the car and my wife was giddy while showing her the "cute robot" that showed up in the car. My wife is thrilled. The blue color is one of her favorites. I also have to admit that it takes substantial effort to not say "the little guy" or "the robot" for this review. So it checks all those "adorable" checkboxes. Regardless of my desire for a manual one, it is cute to see "him" open his arms and hug your phone.Overall, we're very pleased.

I ordered this because I lost my previous phone holster. I thought I would go for a bit of an upgrade with the wireless charging system. I love the idea of this item, and I really wanted it to work well.First, my kids took it out of the box and started playing with it before I had the chance to get a good look at it. They loved the look of the robot and the fact that it give the phone a hug.When I took it out to the car, it was a different experience. I had a very hard time installing the clip because there were no directions...only a listing of parts with a little diagram. I am usually relatively tech savvy and can figure things out, but this took me a little while to figure out how to attach the clip to the air vent. Some of my air vent slats were broken, so it made it a little more diffiicult than it should have been.Once I got the clip installed, I plugged in the charging cord and gave it a try. Everything appeared to be working nicely. However, after a couple days of using my phone in the wireless charger, I found that my phone wasn't really getting enough power to get a good charge. I ended up unplugging the holster from the power, and plugging my phone in directly to the cord that the holster came with. But then, the wire broke after only a couple of uses.I also noted from the directions that the unit won't function in extreme temperatures. It's a reasonable temperature outside now, but I'd be concerned about the peak winter and summer temperatures.I really wish this would have worked better because I really like the design. Looks like I'm back to using the holster without power, and my old charging cord. At least the holster us doing a good job of staying on the air vent for now. We'll see how long it lasts.

I mistakenly thought this also held the phone magnetically while magnetically charging it but it's quite obvious from the product photos that the phone is held in place by the cute little arms and legs...oops. Oh well that's fine though because the husband still uses it. :DMy husband asked me for a MagSafe charging car charger so of course I got him this one. :)But like I said this one doesn't magnetically hold your phone so oops on me.This thing is so cute so I figured if he didn't like it I'd use it. Well he likes it so he's keeping it hahaha. The fact that it says "hug me" on it and he's not a big hugger (like me) is just the icing on the cake (and neither of us particularly like icing either haha). He mentioned the little eyes and I said of course I knew they were there, so cute!This cute little charger is easy to install and use. If you've installed any other vent-mounted phone holder before this should be super easy for you. If not don't worry it will also be easy for you. There's a little touch power button on the back of the top of the holder that opens the little arms for you. Once you place your phone in the holder the cute little arms close automatically, so convenient!Husband uses it frequently and so far no complaints besides the whole it-doesn't-hold-the-phone-magnetically.Overall happy with this purchase and would buy again. Did I mention it was super cute?? :D
