Will this unit remember the temperature set points when power has been removed, and does it automatically start when power is re-applied?

Yes it remembers temperature and yes it will automatically start back up. I have had mine for 6 months and it runs constantly every day and I haven’t had any issues with it.

Why does this one cost more than buying a single fan and a T3 which would make it the same?

I assume same reason it costs more to buy a bacon cheese burger vs a cheese burger with bacon on the side. They have to pay the child an extra 10cents and the manager watching the child an extra 10cents and the quality control person 10cents... and then they have to ship it in a larger box to amazon. Do you feel that the child on China should not be compensated for the work they perform?

What is the difference between the airplate t8 ($99) and the comination of airplate t3 plus an s3 fan ($77)?
